The gentleman at front desk when we arrived was outstanding. Helped with our Italian, parking, and restaurants. Easy to get to anywhere in region. Absolutely would stay here again!!!!

The staff at Hotel Mary are always professional and helpful. I was there for business at the US base, and it was walking distance from the pedestrian gate, which was extremely convenient for me, since I did not have a car. It is also located next to the No 1 bus line (Vicenza public transport) that will take you downtown in 10-15min, for only €1.70. The room was more than adequate for the size, very clean, and always great daily service. It wasn't noisy, and everyone was always respectful. The breakfast is incredible for Italy, they have everything and more to offer. Overall I will be coming back when I have business in Vicenza, they are wonderful and always welcoming.

Very close to Caserma Erdele, breakfast is nice, great staff

Somewhat dated 4 lights were burnt out and my shower head/bath faucet needed to be replaced. They quickly fixed 3 of the 4 lights and the shower issue while I was at work

I love this place. I first stayed here in 1991. And then again in 2001. And now I’m back and it is better and improved and I love it.

There was a bathtub in the bathroom

We have booked for 3 ppl, only two set of bedlinen was prepared. The stuff was absolutely the rudest which I have ever met in Italy. Hospitality is a profession, if you get people behind the counter who should be making burgers in McDonalds, I assume this is what you get.

The location was convenient even though there is a lot of traffic in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, silent and the bathroom had a bathtub.

The location and the room were excellent. The staff were very helpful and we especially enjoyed the evening shift desk clerk, Donato. He was very knowledgeable and accurate with his information. We wanted to be close to the US Army base and this was very convenient.

The room could have had better lighting. A desk lamp would have been helpful. The wall lamps by the bed were not bright enough for reading in the evening.

Nice, clean hotel in a relatively quiet area of Vicenza, 10-15 minutes from the city centre by bus. The bus stop to and from the city is in front of the hotel, which is a bonus. The reception staff was polite and breakfast was very good with a wide selection of fresh food.

We visited the hotel on Jan 18 and paid €246 for just one night, for a room for two people, at the back side of the hotel. Checking the prices now -one week later-, they are €88-€100 depending on the date. That was some kind of a disappointment. I can understand that during regional exhibitions prices can slightly vary, but this was almost 3 times higher, which was extremely expensive for this hotel, that was not even in the city center.

It was noisy at night cus I was close to the road and it was also very hot as they refused to turn on the AC that it was winter.

We couldn’t get back to our house stay because of a train delay, it had poured with rain that day and we were soaked and after some frantic googling we checked into the Hotel Mary last minute at 10:30pm. The man at the desk was so friendly, gave us an adapter for our chargers because our phones were dead. I didn’t interact with the woman who started her shift after him but my friend did and said she was lovely as well. Thank you so much for saving three travel weary and rain soaked girls!

IF ONE WANTS TO VISIT VENICE AND PADOVA AND STAY IN A QUIET NON EXPENCIVE HOTEL CLOSE TO TRAIN TRANSPORTATION YOU ARE IN S RIGHT OLACE!

Hard to find even with GPS in your car!

Location and access to the hotel were perfect. The breakfast had a big selection of products, and the staff is extremely responsive and nice

The only thing that was a little hard for us is that it was too hot without AC in the room (even though we were in September) so we ha to open to windows. Since our room was on the road side, we were disturbed by the noise

I’ve been staying in Hotel Mary for many years and ever since I first visited over 15 years ago I felt very good. Although it is not flashy this is the place where one will find all they need. Price is decent, rooms are small but very comfortable clean and well maintened. Breakfast is very tasty and rich! Air condition excelent. Hotel has secure underground parking so your foreign registered cars with valuables will have 100% security! Vicenza historic center is only few bus stops away (bus stop accross). Small shopping mall is just one mile away with excellent grocery shop. Hotel Mary is great choice if one wants to visit Venice and Padova and save money. Price is decent (compared to Venice and other Italian city hotels). Best way to visit Venice is if you take a 20 min train ride to Venice or Padova. All in all if you want to visit this part of Italy, save money, rest, feel safe and secure this is your best choice! It is decent and very safe!

This August the train service to Venice was interrupted but nothing to do with the hotel! They are adding express track and work should be completed by the end of the month, August 2024!
