Toyooka Sky Hotel

Very comfortable hotel, well located within walking distance of several restaurants.Free parking is a plus.The hotel kindly accommodated the requests I had for our two rooms, this is highly appreciated.Strong wifi.Very good Japanese breakfast.The staff, from the reception to the breakfast lady, were all welcoming, smiling and helpful.We had a great stay, and we recommend this hotel without an hesitation.

Fantastic location (next to a train station, TSUTAYA, and Starbucks just two minutes walk). Great and supportive staff, with surprised gifts on arrival!

The hotel is near the station. Kinosaki Onsen is just a few stations away. We got a welcome drink!The rooms are spacious and clean. Very friendly staff. We initially booked a smoking room (only option available) but they told us during check in that they can move us to a non smoking room which we appreciated.

The hotel is a bit dated, but still very well-maintained and clean! It offers all the amenities of a Japanese business hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.The location is also very central. You can quickly reach Toyooka Station and from there the beach or Kinosaki Onsen.The hotel offers good value for money.Breakfast is typical Japanese and consists of a protein source, vegetables, rice, side dishes, and a tasty soup.

Convenient to train station and a very well laid out room. Nice japanese breakfast.

Bathroom could have been easier to enter.

Apparently I had booked a smoking room although I don’t remember seeing this at the time of booking. They couldn’t put us in another room but promised to give us a non smoking room the next night. We accepted, but our night wasn’t very comfortable in the smoking room due to the remaining smell in the room.

Breakfast is yummy and enough. Location is 10mins away from train station 15mins away from Kinosaki. Clean.

We did not book breakfast but on check in they gave us a snack or drink for free which is really great as other places don't really do that. The room was spacious for 2 people, there are slippers, robes, towels, bathroom amenities. The cost per room was great value compared to Kinosaki Onsen nearby. In future I would stay here and train to Kinosaki Onsen for the sights/bathhouses.

Toyo-oka sky hotel is central and is offering all what you need to discover the town and the surrounding. The staff is extremely attentive and delicate. The breakfast set is delicious. The room was cozy and all the amenities were useful. Thank you very much to the entire team.

Good position and affordable price; this hotel is near Toyooka station (less than 10 minutes walk) and you can take 30-minute train to KINOSAKI or other near-by spots and here it has much fewer tourists.2. Cozy bed and pillows; coin laundry3. Friendly servers; the day I stayed were all female servers that made me feel safe to stay here

Staff is extremely nice, helpful. The best team works in Toyooka Sky Hotel. I regret I had short stay with them.

The hotel is perfect, but it's hard to find good healthy food around the hotel.

In an area that was very quiet and nothing really around. Shopping Centre was extremely dated

It was a little bit hot in our room and the AC wouldn’t blow cold air

When I got there was almost 0:00 midnight, there was a kind mister who helped me check in. My thumb was dry cold and a little bleeding, I asked for a piece of tissue then he gave many band-aid which helped me a lot. Many thanks.The room is compact and clean. It takes about 10 minutes walking to Toyooka station. Breakfast is Japanese style.

The room is little compact and not that new. But it worth the price.

Excellent budget hotel. I enjoyed my stay. Clean, comfortable, safe and warm.

The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The facilities were very good, and the staff were wonderful. Very helpful, especially when I needed assistance to get to the Genbudo Museum, as my Japanese is still very basic. They provided a couple of complimentary items every evening - drinks or a snack kind of thing. Only a short train ride from Kinosaki Onsen, too. I'll definitely be back!

Good location, closed to JR Toyooka station to 城崎溫泉 & Tango railway Toyooka station to 天橋立 right at downstairs, dept store's supermarket around for food shopping.
