    Pros +

    • The hotel is very modern and stylishly decorated down stairs. We appreciated having an elevator up to our floor. The room was small but cozy. Our kids loved the bunk beds. The bathroom was clean, newly renovated and felt high end. We enjoyed the bar downstairs one evening and especially enjoyed the breakfast. There was a large variety of food and it was all really good! It was very important for us to have parking for our large van, so we paid for parking for the weekend and although the parking lot was very small and someone had taken our spot, we appreciated the staff making sure the car was removed and that we could fit our van back into the lot. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the old city and restaurants so we were able to leave our car and go on foot. Perhaps most conveniently we were able to bring our dog to this hotel. Often pet rooms can feel a little dirty because of fur or accidents from previous pets, but our room smelled fresh and we appreciated that the floors weren’t carpeted so that we didn’t have to worry about old hidden pet stains on the floors.
    • Good place in Udine when you are travelling to the south of Italy. The room was clean and comfortable. Huge plus for the free parking and no charge for the pets. The restaurant is also nice and they serve quite good breakfast.
    • This is a family-run hotel, and we loved the cosy, warm atmosphere. We enjoyed the bar, restaurant, and breakfast. Everything is homemade, and we really appreciated the variety of food and the selection of fresh products. We also used the laundry facilities, which were extremely convenient. After a long trip, this was a must-have service for us and made a big difference. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute drive from the city centre.Bravo!!! Your long family history is a true guarantee of professionalism and quality.

    Cons -

    • The upper hallways were very bare though and could use some noise cancelation for people walking up and down the halls late at night. Unfortunately the heat would not turn off in the room so it got very uncomfortable despite the beautiful room and furnishings. We let the staff know and they sent someone up who offered us a room across the street at the other hotel when he couldn’t fix the issue. We appreciated his kindness but don’t want to move all our things so late in the evening so we opened the windows and slept through the traffic noise from outside. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay!
    • The room was old and cold. The heating seemed to work only if the key card was inserted and since we only had one, and since we went out in the evening, the room stayed cold.
    • During our 2 nights stay the bathroom had a very strong cigarette smell, which is definitely a fault in the air extraction system (a ventilation issue). The room could have been much cleaner as well (dust, spider webs). There is visible mold in the shower cabin. We expected better conditions for a "superior" family room.

Good breakfast, easy 30min walk to the city centre, simple location to find.

During our 2 nights stay the bathroom had a very strong cigarette smell, which is definitely a fault in the air extraction system (a ventilation issue). The room could have been much cleaner as well (dust, spider webs). There is visible mold in the shower cabin. We expected better conditions for a "superior" family room.

    Passable

Very poor value for money. The room is small and the facilities are outdated and poorly maintained. Overall comfort was disappointing. Breakfast offered very limited choices and did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this hotel given the very high price.

The hotel is in the city centre. It was an excellent location. Parking in the rear is good. It feels very safe

    Location is perfect.

We were placed in the separate section, which was fine. A bit surprised that no kettle with tea or coffee was available in the room, also considering that the breakfast room and main hotel is outside the building we stayed in. It would have been nice to have that in the room.

The location was perfect, the staff were so nice and helpful. I would always stay in Ramandolo, Udine.

Breakfast OK, room clean, parking safe.

Air conditioning was too loud and I didn't find a way to make it more silent.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, clean room. Good location.

    Loud AC in the room

This hotel is a little bit further away from downtown area, but there are still plenty of places (restaurant, bar..) nearby. The breakfast was really good and tasty, it gave us a good start for the day.

However the room was really clean, there was a strange smell.

What was supposed to be just a one night stop on the way to Tuscany turned out to be a very nice surprise. The people in the hotel were so nice the moment we arrived, helped us in what we needed and were smiling, super efficient, fast and professional. We parked our car right there. The restaurant was also very good and we loved not having to walk anywhere far with our baby and enjoy dinner in the hotel. We had an amazing stay as the bed was super comfortable, with excellent quality sheets and towels. Black out curtains creating perfectly dark room, but also simple curtains are there if you prefer some light. Washable floors, no carpet! Enough place to put luggage and clothes on. The bathroom was new and clean, hot water running, bidet was there and we appreciate those even more now when travelling with a toddler. We had a fine view, the city centre is near, nice walk in a nice neighbourhood. Excellent breakfast, the only exception for the machine coffee, but of course you can have a proper cappuccino from the bar - we did not have time to try it but next time!

Having to leave! :) I was very satisfied with this choice and I would definitely come back. If you can improve one thing, please have the city empty the glass containers a bit later on saturday morning. But my husband overslept this anyway, so no super big deal. I guess the wooden blinders for windows work magic!

Great breakfast, good location, close to the city center and the highway. Private parking

The room looked shabby, didn’t smell well. For 1 night fine, wouldn’t stay longer though
