It was a very clean and pleasant hotel, and the staff were very friendly and organized.
It was good in every way.
Simple but functional. If you need to be close to the train station it is perfect!
A slightly bigger bed would be better. No view from the window, I had to keep the window screens shut.
price is ok
rooms too small, TV set doesnt work in room 203
Very pleasant accommodation, friendly staff, sufficient breakfast. Excellent access to the train, bus and the historic city center. In the immediate vicinity there are several cafes and refreshments. I recommend the accommodation.
Fabulous location opposite the train station as I was travelling by train, literally across the road. Could walk into old town easily. The room was dated but very clean and the breakfast was very good and they were open before 6am! Good value for money.
The shower was so tiny I couldn't bend over to clean my feet!
Breakfast was simple but very good. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable
Very polite and lovely people working there. The room was comfy and the city centre is in the walking distance.
Friendly helpful staff.Great location for the station, can get off the train and see the hotel, no Google Maps required!Good size room and comfortable bed.
Strange hairdryer, would only work for a few minutes at a time before it would automatically turn off. Annoying as not long enough to dry hair.
Good location just across the street with the railways station. Good base to travel around. Walking distance from the city center. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Large room. The heating was already on, that was a surprise.
The area looks a bit unsafe.

Narrow parking use only compact cars or have guidance.Hard to find as you need to drive through Housings to find the Hotel -> Google Maps was no help!

It was quite clean, the breakfast was tasty although not very diverse, the staff was friendly (except for the first receptionist who welcomed us).
First of all, we booked the hotel because it offered the option of a baby cot, as we were traveling with a small baby. The reservation went smoothly and we were already on the way. To be fair, the hotel did send a message via Booking an hour later saying that they did not have a baby cot available after all. The problem is that we were already on the road, and since I was driving, I did not check the Booking app. I do not understand why nobody from the hotel called my phone number to communicate something so important? This is an urgent matter because a small baby could fall from a large bed and suffer serious consequences.Since the situation was already like that, I asked the receptionist Antonio what alternatives we had. He said he didn’t know. I asked if there was any other option, and he told me I had to pay a €3.60 tax. There was absolutely no empathy, even though it was already 8 p.m. and I didn’t know what to do with the baby — he simply didn’t care. Then it occurred to me to ask for any kind of mattress so I could improvise a safe place on the floor for the baby so at least she couldn’t fall from a height. He replied that he had no idea where the mattresses were kept and that none were available (which is very strange for a whole hotel not to have a single spare mattress). He then said we wouldn’t have to pay for parking as an apology (okay, thanks, but he still didn’t seem to understand that if the baby fell, it could have lifelong consequences). They then offered us single rooms (2 beds), where I improvised a safe place for the baby with my mattress; my wife slept on one bed, and I slept on the floor. I don’t know if things would have been different with another receptionist, because all the others were very kind, but I truly cannot understand such a lack of empathy from an adult person.
Ok for the money, breakfast...
The bathroom was moldy and disgusting. I did not find the neighborhood nice, but it was right next to to train station so i guess thats the reason…
Very conveniently located right next to the train station, clean and comfortable room, breakfast included.
There was only one electrical socket in the room and an additional one in the bathroom. I had two devices to charge overnight so it was fine for me, but one additional socket in the room would have been nice.
The size of the room was ok - a little spartanly furnished though. We missed extra pillows. Very few electrical outlet - we had to charge our mobiles phones one at a time. The location of the hotel was ok - in a walking distance from the old town. Parking spots were quiet small - so if you have a big SUV prepare to tricky parking.
The breakfast was very, very limited - not very satisfying. Two sorts of small bread buns (a little dry), butter, cheese and ham, some grain and yogurt. No vegetables. 2-3 bananas and apples. Hardly something you can call breakfast. We were contacted by the hotel after a day that we had forgotten something in the room. We answered and asked what it was and they said we forgot a charger to a mobile phone, but we couldn't see that we had forgotten that since we had our chargers with us.We continued our travel to Croatia and spent a week there and when travelling back home we noticed we missed a male hoodie which we remember that we had hung in the wardrobe in Hotel Principe and had forgotten when we left the hotel. We contacted the hotel on the same mail thread to ask about the forgotten hoodie and if they could send us back the hoodie. We are still waiting for them to answer ... (this was around the 25 July 2025 - and today it's 25 August 2025!)We are disappointed in the hotel for not responding / giving us feed back to our question.
This is a 3 star hotel and does what it says on the tin. Rooms are small and basic, beds are comfortable, air con worked fine, shower was good although narrow. Rail and bus station less than 5 min walk.
Breakfast was poor.
Excellent location. 1 minute from the main train station and a 5 minute stroll to the town centre. Clean, comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff.
