Clean, comfortable hotel. The breakfast was good. Loved the ambience.

The room we got was amazing, with a view of the fortress and the mountains out of the window! It was also spotlessly clean and the front desk person was very nice. Check in/out was very easy. I would stay there again for sure and would recommend it to others!

I think there needed to be more staff working the breakfast area as it seemed to be only one girl and it didn't seem like she could do it all effectively herself.

The breakfast was awesome with local produce. I think even mostly organic. The hotel is situated in a quiet area and the room was spacy and comfortable. The restaurant is not cheap, but you get great cuisine with high Falstaff and Gault Millaut ratings. And the staff! YOu will ove them!

Positive points: Location, room, breakfast, parking, sauna.Everything was better than the negative reviews of some previous visitors.We'll come back.

The room was disappointing especially for the price. There was a bad smell - drains or mould - and the bed was old with an uncomfortable mattress.

It’s not at the standard I expect from a 4 star hotel. The hotel is in dire need of renovation. From the outside, it looks quite modern, however all illusions of modernity quickly vanish upon entering the building. The breakfast was not very appetising; a heap of smoked salmon was piled high (which looked like it had started to sweat), the coffee tasted like 5w-30 engine oil after 100k miles in a Toyota Hilux and the reception closes at 19:00, even though 20:00 was the advertised time on the website. Not only is the reception closed, but they turned the lights off in the foyer, and simply sellotaped my key to the front door… very, very disappointing experience overall.

The only minus for us was that the beds/mattresses were too soft. So it was kind of hard to fall asleep, other than this, we were satisfied in general with everything :)

Doesn't feel and look as a 4 star hotel. The room and the furniture looks old and rusty. Wifi is very bad.Very small TVPrice is too big for what they offer. Maybe 60-70 euros should be fine.The floor was very noisy in some place, probably because of the wood

The hotel is positioned in a nice area, green and dog friendly. The common spaces of the hotel and restaurant were very pretty, parking available, kind staff. The room had a little balcony which was a nice surprise. Good, thick curtains, covering nicely the windows, so that the light didn't bother us in the morning. Nice personal kit in the bathroom, unfortunately only one for 2 people!

Curtains in the room were stained, the room felt generally old. Very uncomfortable bathroom, the fan/ventilation was not working, but one can't use the toilet with open door because of its placement. Signs of mould in the bathroom due to lack of ventilation. Only one kit in the bathroom even though we were in 2. General confusion with the rooms' placement, a little against logic.

Alpenrose positions itself as one of the best hotels in Kufstein, but the room was shebby (incl. Torn chair - see the picture), the cleaning lady did not arrive on Saturday at all and the bed mattress was worn out. Is this one of the best hotels?

Although our room had 2 windows facing the road, it was nice and quiet.The room itself was clean and beds were comfy. The bathroom was small, but OK. Soap, shower gel and body lotion were provided in dispensers and a vanity box gave a nice touch.Breakfast could be chosen from a well selected buffet, with hot drinks being served as well as fresh hot food from the kitchen e.g. all kinds of egg dishes. If you have the time (and the means) check out their rewarded restaurant with 3, 4 or 5 courses to choose from as well as à la carte options. Food is simply amazing as is the wine selection. Service is impeccable 5* standard.

At 09:00 ? pm we had a drink on the pitch dark terrace of this ****hotel. At 10:00 pm ? total blackout outside. Room is sober, wall to wall carpet with stains, mini bar missing, curtains torn, mirror in bathroom missing, box for tissues on the floor, aso. Not professional.

Nice place to stay, close to the castle, relatively calm streets in the night, spacious and well equiped rooms, good breakfest. Definitely worth to visit.

There were some troubles within checkin, I would recommend to make you reservation day before, seems to be that they have some gaps in the proces. On other hand, everything has been handled very profesionally and compensate next morning, so I will still choose this property in this area in the future.
