Pros +
- The location is very good. It's a clean and very outdoorsy hotel. Which fits the definition.
- The location is perfect and it is truly ski right to the door. Very very convenient. The only issue is if you are taking public transit there it is a bit of a walk to where the bus drops you off. However not an issue if you don’t mind a brief walk for about 10 minutes.
- Nice hotel w. very friendly and helpful staff. Great and spacious room w. all you need. Super breakfast :-)
Cons -
- This hotel is built to maximize profit. Everything is automated. Minimum staff and maximum automation. This removes the personal/human touch from the experience. Also, you need to cook your own eggs for breakfast. Which is not acceptable to me. It's not a cheap hotel. I'm almost paying 200€ for a night here, so I expect better service.
- No shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. The soap is sort of all in one which isn’t amazing but it does the job when you’ve spent the whole day skiing. Walls are a bit thin and it can get noisy at times.
- There was no air-conditioning. Providing a fan would have been nice for the hot summer nights. I would recommend bringing one with you for those summer nights.

It was a place to sleep. I was a little surprised to see a cook station for you to prepare your own eggs, but they had everything you would need to make an omelet, which was nice.

Outstanding spa facilities. It was great to have a steam room, sauna and infrared spa. Very relaxing after six days of riding a motorcycle through Bavaria and Tyrol. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast.
We loved the beds, the location, the view, and the breakfast was amazing.
We missed a fridge, and the AC or at least a mosquito net on the window.
The hotel is close to nature, excellent starting point for hiking or skiing. Very good breakfast, too.
There is no table in the rooms.
The location is really good, and the service is kind.
No air ventilation in the rooms which meant warm sleepless nights due to mosquito season (our dog especially suffered from this and they charged 20€ extra per night for our dog). There was constant smell coming from our bathroom. Pillow so thin it disappeared under our head. I asked for a coffee and they charged me 4.6€ for a machine made coffee that I had to made myself… we will not come back
Nice view
No dinner at the hotel, room walls seem to be made from paper and one could listen every word and noise of the next door neighbor.
Great location and excellent breakfast
Rooms are not automatically cleaned, and there is only one bottle of soap/shampoo and body wash in the bathroom
nice location for hiking around
breakfast was just ok, not as clean as expected, although it was water available that we could clean our muddy boots, it was not working. Spa area very poor. Overall expensive rate for the facilities provided
The location is fantastic.
The check-in was possible starting from 15:00 and checkout time was at 10:30 the latest. we were there around 13:00 and had to pay 30€ early check in fee to get in to our room which was already cleaned and ready. also paid 8€ for parking in the garage. In the breakfast buffet you had to cook your own breakfast if you wanted eggs, all in all they seemed like they were trying to squeeze every cent they could from the guests.
Breakfest great , you can make your own scrambled eggs
small rooms, but that was something I expected, no problem
Location, staff, breakfast, cleaning
No AC, no tissues, no refrigerator, no trash in the room, bed, pillow, and cover are very small.
The Location is amazing and it’s very well set up for an outdoor holiday both for winter and summer. There is plenty of parking.A short walk to the village and its facilities.
At breakfast it was very busy and not particularly well organised. Difficult to find a table, especially if you have a dog travelling with you as there is only a limited number of tables outside.
The location was amazing. Room clean and the hole hotel locked amazing. We were for only a night but definitely we will go back
They don't have a restaurant and either a fridge in the room
nice location, clean room, good breakfast
not enough gym equipment, no air conditioning in rooms, food in restaurant bad quality and not too much to choose
Amazing, well designed, good location
Rooms with dogs access are not clean: fur and hairs from other dogs are there, please clean it better as you are taking a fee for dogs stay.
I like the way they provide the self service of cooking the eggs.
This was our first experience with Explorer Hotel, and we were presently surprised by the quality of the services offered. Great option for an active summer holiday stopover.
