- Everything about this stay was warm and inviting. We immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. The facility is wonderful—quaint, charming, clean, and a great location nestled in the Alps, near Salzburg and Berchesgaden. There is a good restaurant on site, and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and helped us with our sightseeing plans.

- The only thing I can think of is it would’ve been nice to have tea and coffee in the rooms.
- Parking is great, but if restaurant is open can be almost impossible to find a spot.
- Small room, quite crowded place, simple breakfast

Location, clean rooms
Small room, quite crowded place, simple breakfast
Very comfortable and spacious room. Beds were very good. Free parking on the territory. Very friendly and caring staff who made sure we check-in smoothly even after hours.
We liked that the place is quiet and that it has parking.
The place is much too expensive for what they offer. The furniture is very old, the beds for the children in the family room are a bad joke. At least they can put a topper on them. No shower gel, no small fridge, very bad lighting and I can continue.. We slept very bad in both beds.
This was a nice room/B&B outside of Salzburg. We (husband/wife and adult son) stayed for 1 night on a car trip from Salzburg to Vienna. The property is very nice, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was included and it was very good. I would recommend this and stay again.
2 areas of improvement:1. Add a small frig to the apartment. We were traveling and had some items that needed to be refrigerated and I didn't notice, when booking, there was no refrigerator. We had to throw a couple of things away due to lack of refrigeration.2. We had a room that was very close to the outside dining area and the street. It was a hot day and there's no air conditioning, so we needed to have all the windows open. The restaurant/outside area was loud at night, and the morning traffic was loud starting early morning. If there was another room for 3 that was more quiet, we would have preferred it.
the setup. the friendly employees.the good food in the restaurant..
n/a lot
The hotel was very good, the staff, especially one of the receptionist, was exceptionally helpful with sorting me out for skiing and a spa excursion. The breakfast included, plus meals in the restaurant were excellent and once again the staff were very attentive, though the hotel was a little isolated, the public transport was very near and easy to use
The restaurant was closed Wednesday and Thursday evening and there was no where near by to go.
There are two halves here. The updated part and the older part. I suspect the newer part is more expensive but you may find the older blocks a little spartan. The restaurant for my evening meal was great. Parking is plentiful although you may initially compete with bar and restaurant guests if you arrive at lunch or evening meal times. By the end of the day I’m sure you’ll get a parking place. The surrounding area is mainly residential so your car is generally safe in the hotel’s parking area. The breakfast, however, is something I’d have only if it’s included in the price. Frankly you’re better off strolling off to Billa across the road and grabbing something for your onward journey.
The breakfast was underwhelming - especially in comparison with the restaurant meal.
Nice location nice employees , good food, beautiful room
The evening we arrived there was a band playing live austrian music on the terrace, we really enjoyed that. The room and breakfast were good enough for one night stay.
No AC in the room, but it got cool enough with the windows open.
The staff were very helpful, communication was clear. Not a large selection but good breakfast.Spacious carpark.
The road noise was very loud in the room.Sounds from other rooms were louder than expected, too.The bed was too soft.
The location is excellent, easy to find and close to everything we wanted to visit. The breakfast was delicious. The checking in and out process was smooth.
Some of the rooms have no view at all. The ones on the floor lack privacy, you have to close the curtains all the time and the hence they are poorly lit. The private parking is shared with their restaurant and if you get back too late it can full, so it's not that private at all.
A nice place with a very nice restaurant. Sufficient parking under the trees which kept the car cool on a hot day. Good breakfast. We had a nice room with balcony which gave us beautiful views on the Untersberg.
The room had no air conditioning and during the night it remained warm even with the balcony door open (daytime temperature was about 28° C.). It could be the general price level in Austria but I felt that the room rate was too high compared to what I have experienced elsewhere (including ?? ?).
Dinner in the evening.
A bit too hot in the room, no airco.
Location is good, close to the motorwayVery good good with lots of nice local beers and wines.Staff very friendly
Staff were very kind and helpful. The food from tge restaurant was incredible and breakfast selection was very nice.
No cooling made the room very warm and uncomfortable at night.
It was clean and cosy. Self check-in was smooth. No problems with late hours. A very nice stay for a Salzburg trip.
The hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are big enough. Also, they are cozy enough. Big parking space.
I was not aware that there are three separate buildings in which the rooms are held. Since there is no one at the reception, you only get the keys and a bit of description of where you need to go, to find a room, it can be confusing, especially if you arrive tired from the drive. The reception only works in the morning, but we did not get even a hello or good morning from them. The lady who was taking care of the breakfast venue also was silent, without even a good morning or hello. Very strange. I travel a lot, and this has happened to me first time. Unfortunately, one gets a feeling that one is not so welcome. They could also take care of some anti-mosquito nets on the window, at least one in the room, so that the summer nights are more pleasant.
Perfect spacious rooms. My wife and me traveled with our 9 year old girl, and although we booked a single room for three, it was more 2 rooms separated by a small wall.
Breakfast was a bit lackluster and the personel in the restaurant wasn't too friendly.
