    Pros +

    • We stayed here very briefly so please consider that in this review. For a quick place to stay it was absolutely fine and the hostess was lovely and allowed a pretty late check-in that was made the day of stay. We did not partake of the pool or breakfast offerings so can't speak to that. She was also able to accommodate us for two rooms right next to each other for ourselves and our son. The rooms were clean and we even had a balcony which was nice.

    Cons -

    • We were missing Kettle in the room
    • The beds themselves weren't particularly comfortable. Outdated but fine. Perfectly serviceable for a nights stay.
    • Terribly hot, and not even a small fan provided. In the bottom floor we contended with those smoking outside blowing their smoke into our beds, and the (lovely, old) thick walls meant it did not cool down very much during the night.

Everything was fine, smooth check-in, friendly staff, nice place.

Cleanliness wasn't as good as expected, the bed felt dusty and there was no hand soap provided for the toilet. It wasn't very cheap so I thought cleanliness could have been better.

Nice rom, excelent breakfast. Very nice owner.

Pool was closed for season, but no information about it when we booked it. Stains on bed sheets.

Very nice people. Very good location with nearby shops and easy freeway access to Salzburg

Lack of attention to detail. Dirty carpets missing light globes, dark bathroom, dirty mattresses, which was evident from from rashes on my skin and my family members due to bedbugs. Cobwebs in high to reach places and serving of food which was not fresh. Overall the rooms could use a good cleaning and refreshment.

    Staff is nice

Rooms smells very bad, sheets and towels are very old and feels hardBreakfast is not fresh with old vegetables and old cheese. Super basic meal not worth the money. Coffee is terrible.

We were traveling to meet family at various locations outside Salzburg and it made sense for us to stay in Hallein and for us this was the perfect trade off of location and comfort vs price and service. Check in was fast and easy and the proprietor was friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and rural, despite its proximity to Salzburg.

It was a bit like stepping out of a time machine and walking into a pension in 1982, but the fixtures and furnishings must have been well-made because they are still holding up well. It would be nice to have better lighting in the bathroom, but that is a small thing.

The lady staff was very kind. Location ok.

No hot water for shower. The bed were not comfortable and we had only summer blankets even though there was bad and stormy weather. The linen were old and even the towel edges were a bit torn. Breakfast was very very poor and boiled egg was served after 20 min. All in all bad experience.

    well maintained, clean, picturesque

Clean. Near to Salsburg .Nice hostess!

Expensive for what you get. Old style but clean. There is no air conditioning, we had to sleep with the window open, but becouse is close to the highway, it was noisy all night. And there is no wifi in the room!!!!! The beds are small.

Very friendly. Great breakfast. Rooms were nice.

    10ŽygimantasPosted on: 7-16-2024

Amazing views thru the balcony/ loggia.Comfortable room layout - more than enough room for 3-4 people in the double room. Possibility to wash clothes for decent price.

Beds with high wooden framework, gives a little bit of discomfort when sitting on the edge.

The accommodation was as depicted in the pictures, with a beautiful outdoor area and easy accessibility to the pension. Overall, I would rate this house business positively.

However, my experience was marred by an unfortunate incident involving one of the owners.Upon our late arrival at nearly 11 PM, we discovered that one bed was not set up and there were no pillows or duvets available, I politely had to wake the owner to request these items, and also some cutlery, offering to make the bed ourselves. Unfortunately, the owner responded with a high level of rudeness and impatience, citing tiredness and incorrectly insisting that the room was meant for five people, not six. I had previously communicated our party size of six via message and email, which made this situation particularly frustrating. When the owner returned with the bed sheets, she admitted to a mistake regarding the room arrangement. Regardless of where the fault lies, it is crucial to treat guests with respect and courtesy. As a business owner, you may not fear job loss, but maintaining a respectful and welcoming attitude is always essential. In my professional life, I deal with clients daily, and no matter how challenging my day has been, I ensure to treat them with respect and professionalism. Additionally, we were exhausted after a four-hour drive with a baby in the car. This feedback is meant as constructive criticism to help the owner avoid such uncomfortable situations in the future. I wish all the best for your business and hope for improved experiences for future guests
