Great location for surrounding places to see

No elevators. Rooms were up numerous flights of stairs. Rooms too far from anything. Room was very hot!! No ac. No bed coverings that were light weight. Ceiling was very low and hit my head a couple of times. Showers were really small. No washcloths.

Excellent surroundings, friendly team, wonderfull pool

The room was old (unforgivably old), shabby and apart from linen - not really clean.

The maintenance of the hotel, especially of the rooms are very bad.Bathroom: The door was broken. The floor was messy and sticky. The showerhead was damaged, even harmed my hand.Generally: The quality/price was extremely bad.

Employees were helpful. Swimming pool was wonderful.

Very old building, with very small room. Breakfast and dinner was just ok. Very noisy outside and in the hallways through out the night.

The breakfast was wonderful & the location is ideal if you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay, outside the town.

I was charged an additional €75 by the hotel to do a tiny bag of laundry which in my opinion is completely overpriced.

Staff 95% absolutely amazing, professional and kind. Food surprisingly good for buffet (we booked half pension), drinks in the bar area were nicely done, very nice and professional masseur.

Room very dusty when we checked in, smelled of smoke, half the ceiling lights didnt work, jets in the bathtub did not work at all- but suddenly came to life a quarter to midnight, when the tub was empty. and blasted loudly for about an hour. sadly the times for the massage appointments were messes up by the spa staff, so that extra waiting time was generated (which would be absolutely understandable) which wasnt handled very gracefully.

The mattresses were unfortunately very uncomfortable.

room had plenty of space which we needed as we had to re-pack after 2weeks of travel before flying back to South Africa. View over the forest area was very relaxing.

After many days on the road, the spa facilities at the hotel were SO appreciated! First we hit the pool, which had massage jets (heaven!), then the steam room and sauna. There were also showers available, and robes, towels, etc. were in our room. The room itself was comfortable, but was a bit warm… nothing that opening the door to the balcony couldn’t fix! Our dog was accepted happily, and was allowed in the bar area where we ate dinner. The menu was limited, but the food was tasty and the wine was excellent. The lobby area was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and the staff worn traditional outfits. I would definitely stay here again, and have already recommended to friends.

This hotel is lovely and authentic. It’s a bit old but that doesn’t matter. It has great character. The pool and aauna were amazing. And staff is helpful. We had a rental car and easily for around. We had a great time.

Would be nice to have a little fridge In The room.

The gym equipment was not kept up to standard

The breakfast was pretty good and they had lots of options. The wifi was good. The pillows and blankets were very comfy. We also liked the dinner they had and it was a good value for what they gave.

We could hear the neighbor’s TV - the walls are very thin. The housekeeper attempted to clean our room at 8:30am, then after we advised them we were still in the room, they tried to come in a second time around 9am and we thought that was rude considering we hadn’t checked out, and the checkout time was 11 am. The bathroom was very small and it was hard to use the shower. The shower has such high pressure water that it hurt.

Our room is very roomy and clean. Friendly staff. The food was great and breakfast was awesome.

No air conditioning and lot of bugs

Room - was very clean, The robes in the room was a nice touch.Breakfast - there were good options and the omelette station was a nice touch.Didn't use the spa, and wait staff were helpful.

We had a non-smoking room with a balcony, which I asked for at time of booking, however could smell smoke from the outside neighbouring balcony room, it was very hot (no aircon), so leaving balcony door opened allowed fresh air to flow but had to close it due to smell of smoke.Bed wasn't comfortable. No elevator, so don't come with a big suitcase.

Friendly people at reception. Rooms OK, a good bathroom with plenty light (important). Hotel is mainly catering for tourist, so perhaps less suitable for business travellers in the summer periode. Breakfast room OK with plenty choice.

Restaurant facilities are quite poor for a hotel with such a score. Limited buffet is not what you expect in a 4* facility.

Spa, swimming pool, staff

Room furnishings look cheap for a four-star hotel, especially bathroom. Food quality good, but not much choice at lunch and even less for dinner.

The breakfast was really good

I had the room 802 and you need to go through a real labyrinthe to find it (up the stairs, then down and up and down etc..). There was also no elevator and the room looked old fashioned.
