Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu

Spacious rooms with lots of natural light. Bathroom well appointed and spacious. Wardrobe is large and has plenty of space to hang clothes as well as shelves and 2 drawers. Hardwood floors comfortable upholstered chair for reading. Also appreciated having a place just inside the door to hang coats, umbrellas, and to store luggage.

When housekeeping made up my room, they took all the used towels but didn't leave any clean towels, so I had to go to reception to request towels. Housekeeping also did not make the bed and did not provide additional toilet paper supply.

Nice Hotel, the beds were very hard though and i woke up with very sore back.

The property was comfortable and in a good location. We loved that it was close and walkable from the train station. Staff was very friendly.

The lighting inside the room was pretty dim, and was often times difficult to see inside.

The restaurant attached to the hotel, had the best food and service. Was in a great location. Not to far to walk to key locations. Staff were helpful.

The staff member at check-in was helpful and recommended upgrading to a superior room, which we were happy to do. However, they strongly encouraged us to include the breakfast package. At the time, I understood breakfast would only be charged if we chose to use it, as I did not want to add a fixed breakfast charge to our stay.I did not realize that selecting “included breakfast” meant we would be charged regardless of whether we ate it or not. At check-out, we asked about this, and a different staff member supposedly corrected the mistake and confirmed a refund had been issued.I say supposedly because our final receipt did not provide any line-item details—only the total cost of the stay. For clarity and record-keeping, I am reaching out to request a detailed breakdown of the charges and confirmation of the refunded amount.

Very friendly staff welcome on arrival, very clean and nicely made up room, awesome location very close to train station (convenient with our cases) and just a short walk to beautiful Salzburg old town which we did just after checking in. Also great to have the restaurant downstairs as an option. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent Hotel in a very centrall location.

The beds were very unconfortable they need updating.

Location, an easy walk to/from Slazburg HBF and a lovely, 20 min walk along the river, to the old town.

Rooms are very small, you need to be very comfortable with your travel buddy to share.

Very nice hotel with a good restaurant. We were upgraded to a larger room. It was perfect. The bathroom was very nice with a walk-in shower and toeel warmer.

Relatively spacious for Salzburg. Easy walking distance to many attractions and about 10 minute walk to train station.

Breakfast was great. Staff at the hotel were very helpful. I was happy with the location, someone else might have wanted to be in the Old City, but I was happy. I walked from train station to hotel. I could get to city activities in 5". Tram was easily available for when I went out to Hellbrun. Loved being next to sister Imlauer Hotel with the roof top restaurant/bar. Went up there few times for cocktails

1. The place was clean.2. Free coffee and water in the room.3. The hotel looks well maintained.4. The design makes you feel cozy.

1. The lack of a bathrobe and slippers.2. The view towards an inside 6×6m open square, I could see straight into at least 6 other rooms from a very close range, so you must always stay with the curtains closed.3. The windows that doesn't open completely, they are kept locked by a key, that only the staff has it and won't open them for you.4. The hot water doesn't always come, I had time when it didn't came not even after 10 minutes of letting it run.5. The pillows are somehow too thin when you put your head on, and woke up with shoulder pain.6. Separate 20 € fee for their own parking lot.7. No breakfast included.For sure its not a 4 star hotel.
