The room was extremely clean The hotel was welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful I will definitely stay there again

The shower being somewhat open made a bit of a mess with the water

proximity to old town; helpful staff. The bartender was especially very friendly.

Location was great for access to the best parts of Salzburg. Room was very big.

Not the best value for our money. The air conditioning didn't work very well.

Was a nice sized room, and bathroom. Was close to the hop on hop off buses stop #1. There is a grocery store on the corner. Was a nice stay

Quiet, clean with great mattresses. In a walking distance from the city centre.

Decent location in a quite part of the city only a short walk to the old town.

Rooms were quite dark. The Hotel allows dogs and there was a dog on the 5th floor which apparently been left unattended by it's owners - leaving the dog upset and barking/whining.

Breakfast was over priced. I ordered pancakes with berries. There were 2 blueberries on the plate. One less and it would have been “pancakes with one blueberry”…

It’s a lovely city hotel with spacious rooms and a nice bar. It’s very well located, close to the pedestrian zone of Salzburg as well as the Old Town and Mirabell Palace.The service was excellent; check-in and check-out were very smooth. On the last day, one of us got sick and was allowed to stay in the room until 3 p.m. free of charge — something that cannot be taken for granted nowadays.We can highly recommend this hotel because of its location, the service, and the helpful staff.

Personally, I prefer hotel rooms without carpet.

One of the staff members, u fortunately. She gave us an already in use” room at check in. I had to go back (concerning about the overall security) and when I told her she only made a sound like “ehhh” never apologising just re-programming the key and overwriting the new last room number on top of the previous one for such reason there are people who would ask for compensation. Luckily we aren’t pirates cause would have been a grand opportunity to quickly check and take what others had inside their room… (not good)

It’s a long walk from the train station but very close to the lively pedestrian street that leads down to the river and the historic centre. It’s orderly and updated inside. Nice bar in the lobby. Room is a decent size for two people with luggage.

Location was fine and easy access to Salzburg attractions

The room was small dark and dingy.The curtains were always falling from the clips which meant we could not keep the light out.Cleaning staff were not a happy lot and did not do a great job.

Old town was just walking distance

As we had a longer travel day the previous day and another one ahead of us we decided to have a bit of a lie in. We didn’t think the need to put a do not disturb sign on as we assumed that house keeping would be alerted to the bedrooms needed turned over once the customer had checked out. Just before 9am we were woke by housekeeping knocking on our door to come clean. This would not be something that would annoy us if we were staying for a few days however, due to check out time being 12 we would not have expected house keeping to be attempting to clean until they were told that this room had been checked out of.
