    Pros +

    • Good location, close to the bus stop, nice parking lot, great food!
    • This is one of the loveliest hotels in which I have ever stayed. Even though it sits next to a busy road, the hotel feels like one is out in the countryside with beautiful gardens, flowers, and the very style of the building and grounds. The interiors are beautifully and tastefully decorated with antiques and art work. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous, and attentive. The breakfast was excellent with fresh offerings. The dinners were very good and relaxing sitting at the white table clothed tables in the garden. The room was comfortable and very quiet. Bus to town is 5 minuets away. Great experience.
    • As usual.. very comfy classical architecture.. this us my first 2nd stay. In a quite place that will make your stay very relaxing… balcony was wow.. I sat in the balcony for an hour daily.. very meditating quality …time It was my first choice..and will be always.Restaurant had a Michelin stars, and food was delicate and sophisticated.

    Cons -

    • They don’t have couples bed ( full, queen or king). They connect two small beds that keep separating all the time. The mattress are too soft, I’d rather have a firmer one.
    • There was nothing that I could list here. All was EXCELLENT.
    • Accommodation, balcony of the suite, very well kept and the staff were very very sweet

Superb hotel in Austrian style with traditional decorations. Nice pool/sauna/hammam zone. Very good restaurant for dinner with very professional and friendly service. Great breakfast. Easy access to Salzburg by bus.

You are charged the cover charge at the restaurant of 5eur per person, even for 3-year old child (!) , did not see it in any other restaurant in Austria. Also, I understand it’s more profitable to charge for tea/coffee at the bar, but having tea/coffee amenities in the room would be more customer friendly.

Staff are very nice and wonderful people, the style of the house is vintage and warm makes you feel like home

It’s not that clean , and you can smell the cooking of the kitchen inside your room , bathroom stuff are old

Beautiful Austrian hotel rooms. Spa and pool excellent restaurant

Hotel beside a busy motorway bus or 22 euro taxi ride into beautiful Salzburg, too far away. A lot of luxury accommodation being built around the grounds of the hotel with an ugly Crain in the view of mountains which are blocked by all the new housing. Such a tragedy ,so sad it would have been a magnificent place in its day .

The reason I chose the property was the amazing restaurant and location close to Salzburg Arena. However I received an emaion2 days before arrival that the restaurant was closed

The room was alright but there was only one small blanket and one pillow. For such a high price even as a solo traveller they could fulfill higher standards. The breakfast was very average

The hotel is older and definitely in need of renovation, especially the room furnishings, which were quite outdated. However, everything was functional and clean, and the staff was very friendly. There is a nice indoor pool available all day.

The hotel has its own restaurant, with very good food, though the prices are quite high. The hotel facilities are old.

We loved the fresh flowers & trees throughout the hotel..& the beer & food was delicious ?

A small fridge & tea/coffee with kettle would be a bonus in the rooms.

I loved how everyone was dressed !! I loved how it looked it had an authentic vibe and the reception desk staff were lovely and even loaned me chargers (I did not come prepared for the EU being different to the UK - novice Aussie here) I loved the freshly baked rolls for breakfast and pastries - my taste buds will never be the same again and whatever that cheesy garlic butter was- just amazing .The room was quite spacious

I thought it was closer in the Salzburg city - I was able to catch a bus quite easily tho and I think if the weather was better I would not have cared it was about a €16 cab ride in and out or €3 bus fare No fridge in the room was a little annoying considering the size of the room

Excellent rooms and common spaces, very good restaurant. The spa was great. he personnel was very accommodating to my late arrival and put together something even if the kitchen was closed.

    10PatriciaPosted on: 7-18-2024

The general ambiance of the hotel was awesome. Breakfast every morning was pleasant and offered several different items to choose from. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely divine. We expected to stay for just a few days but stayed an entire week!

The hotel is marvelous, very beautiful and authentic. The building is quite old but all amenities are new and air conditioning is present in the room. The bed was comfortable; the wardrobe was big enough and bathroom had enough space. The restaurant had beautiful cutlery. It is easy to reach the city center as the bus stop is just round the corner.

It was quite noisy outside with the open window as it is near the highway. The cleaning could have been better as they didn't hoover the flooring.

Fantastic hotel to stay at, comfy atmosphere and very clean, lovely staff in reception and the restaurant. While a little bit out of Salzburg city centre it was perfect with a car and bus availability to get around.

I enjoyed staying at this traditional family run Austrian hotel. My large room had an Austrian style wooden balcony, a wood floor and classical wood furniture and fittings. The shared areas had wonderful artworks, paintings and vintage furniture. The friendly staff dressed in an Austrian style. I only ate breakfast, but the quality of the food was and reflected the attention to detail which made the stay feel special.

A little way out of Salzburg centre , but on a main bus route so getting into Salzburg was a breeze. Had the pool and sauna wellness complex to myself , which felt a bit weird, perhaps it is more of a winter activity.

Excellent breakfast with hot and cold options.Delightful garden terraces.Helpful friendly staff.Efficient nearby public transport into town and airport

Very nice staff, calm location, good breakfast

Stunning location, the hotel felt traditional and all the staff were really accommodating and welcoming

    7TimofejevPosted on: 1-8-2024

Young lady at the reception was wonderful, we felt very welcomed. Bigger room was spacious and stylish. Place is quiet and tranquil. Pastry at the breakfast very tasty and fresh.

Bathrooms, especially in smaller rooms are quite tired and in a desperate need for renovation. Hotel part is annoyingly slow and inattentive. Breakfast was extremally limited for 430 euros per stay. Carafe at the breakfast with broken glass edges and spout made is very unsafe ruined a lot of impression.
