Hotel Rosenvilla

The staff were very friendly and attentive.Breakfast was excellent.Our room had an outdoor deck or patio which we liked.Clean and comfortable.It had air conditioning- I would not go to Austria in summer without this.

Extremely clean, modern, and comfortable. Location is only slightly outside Salzburg ... if you enjoy walking, it's easy to get into town. If not, the bus is right outside their door. Simply the BEST shower I've ever had in a hotel room. Ever. Lovely breakfast buffet with great coffee.

Our room was so big, very comfortable. The property locate is very convenient to take a bus and walkable. The area is safe and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Charming quiet amazing breakfast amazing rooms

Everything was perfect

We only stayed at the hotel for one night, but it was excellent and we would return there anytime. We arrived by car, and found a parking space in front of the hotel. We got an upgrade to the room, which was a very nice surprise. The room was excellent, big, clean, well equipped, the bathroom was very clean, the bed and pillows - excellent. Really, there wasn't anything we didn't like, we loved it. The staff is very helpful and friendly! We also got free bus tickets, and were able to use them to get to the town center in about 10 minutes. The location is great also. about 20 minutes walk to the center, 10 minutes by bus, maybe 7 by car. It is quiet, and even has a few restaurants near by, which are well rated on Google. Breakfast was of great quality, not extremely varied but everything was tasty and you can find something for everyone (even picky eaters :)). This hotel has been a great surprise for us, and we would return any day.

The location, Staff and quietness

First of all the Hotel Director Junior was very helpful, very kind. Also the lady who checked us in on the first day was very kind. The location is 15 minutes walking from the old town or Mirabel Gardens. Very clean, newly renovated rooms. We were very happy with our choice.

The attention to detail was amazing. From the warm welcome, to the cozy rooms and the outstanding breakfast (literally the best I've ever seen) I loved the stay.

Great quiet place, fantastic staff - friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Clean room that is equipped with everything you’d need, even wireless charging stations on each side of the bed. Highly recommended.

A great hotel - clean, spacious, super friendly staff, and a breakfast that is legendary! After 10:30, it opens for breakfast for non-guests and the waiting list is 2 weeks long!

A minor point is that it is about 1.5 km walk to the centre of town; mind you, you can take the bus if you want.

Cleanliness and how modern it was

I would have loved a fan

The hotel was pretty clean, the rooms were ok in size. Had a bathroom, a comfortable bed and a desk. The staff were somewhat helpful, brought us fans in the room because it was extremely hot . The breakfast was good

The rooms were extremely hot, the fans that the brought in the rooms were not dysons like other people commented and they did nothing. The windows were really small, too. Really hard to sleep in such conditions. Our group was divided into 2 hotels, half staying at Rosenvilla, half somewhere else. The staff at Rosenvilla initially wanted to charge us 5 euro for parking and when we told them that we had free parking at the other hotel and our car was parked there, they told us that "for us it was free parking then". I don't think that deciding on the spot whether to charge us for parking or not seemed professional. It seemed sketchy to be honest. Then they welcomed us to the breakfast only to charge us a lot of money at the end of our stay. We were not announced at any point that the breakfast was going to be 20€/ person, which honestly is a lot, especially since we were 3 people and we ended up paying 120€ extra at the end of our stay. One of the rooms also had a weird bathroom. In case it's not clear in the pictures, the bathroom was in the bedroom, having no door or anything to divide the two spaces. (the toilet had a door, thought). You couldn't have a shower without the room getting extremely hot and steamy, and since you had no air conditioning, the warmth and humidity would stay in the room. It would have been extremely awkward if you were traveling with a parent or a friend and you had to ask the other person to get out of the room so you could shower, since you could see the whole shower from the bed. Honestly not worth the trouble, there are other hotels and bed&breakfasts with better amenities and staff, or if you are traveling during the cooler seasons and don't mind the bathroom situation, i guess it would be fine.

A cozy small hotel in a quiet environment within walking distance of the center. Very friendly staff. Our reservation was also upgraded to a better available room by default. Good breakfast with local options. In summer comfortable terrace where you can enjoy breakfast. There are eating places nearby and a small grocery store next to the gas station. Excellent public transportation - bus stop around the corner (direct connection to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof) and tram stop within 400 meters.

It would be nice if the rooms had own small fridge.

The hotel is beautiful and quaint and the staff were very friendly.

It was slightly inconvenient for seeing the sights. (Not a terribly long walk, but my foot was injured.) There is a nearby bus.
