Motel One Salzburg-Süd

Nothing really!

The price was changed from €107 to €156 just because I changed my date of arrival to a day earlier because of a flight delay. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room.Breakfast was ridiculously expensive at €17 instead of the regular prices of €7.

Clean, comfortable, nice rooms. Good breakfast, but a bit expensive.

Parking lot is available next to hotel and 7 Euro per night.

Breakfast concept. Not enough placa in dining room and people have breakfast in the reception area. Many people are smoking just in front of main entrance.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was great. Public transit was nearby and easy

We were incredibly happy with the bed and linens, how clean the room was, how well laid out the room was, and how exceptionally quiet our day was. Staff were friendly and helped out quite a bit when we had questions. Breakfast was a good value.

One place the property could improve is on the shower walls. The opening of the shower wall allows water onto the floor of the bathroom, which can be uncomfortable to step in.

Loved the atmosphere and the ease of public transportation right across the street. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The lobby is beautiful and cozy. Great place to relax with a drink.

The pillows were not comfortable and the bed was a bit too firm for me.

My wife and I were originally booked at another hotel in Salzburg. It was not as advertised and we knew we couldn't stay there past the first night. We located this hotel on Booking.com and it salvaged our time in Salzburg. The hotel had a wonderful, inviting vibe. The lobby bar was filled with guests at night enjoying good conversations and drinks. The rooms were decent size, especially for European hotels and clean. We especially liked having a grocery store on the other side of the parking lot. It was convenient for picking up snacks and having a late breakfast.

The only negative was the lack of restaurants within walking distance. However, this was only a minor inconvenience since many restaurants were within a short taxi or uber ride.

The reception area was spectacular with the dangling balls of light and comfortable seating areas. Plus, there was a full bar available complete with cocktails, beer, and coffee. The hostess noted tram tickets were available at no extra charge as they were included with the city taxes. This was helpful as we were not within walking distance of the city center. Our room was very clean and provided enough room for our stay. Also, parking was close-by which was convenient.

Motel One hotels are as always very very good. Location is very good, easy to find. There are 2 options regarding parking spaces. Lounge is very modern. Staff is very very polite and friendly. Sitting in the lounge at evening is very nice.Rooms are nice, clean. Modern bathrooms. Bed is very comfy and you get two pillows whis is for me very important.Breakfast is nice with enough variety of the food. We are very satisfied as always with MotelOne hotels.

The motel one is a very good choice I recommend, there's a good services around and big supermarket with good food and cafe

The price for a stay one night is high, location is far away from the center

Good location adjacent to a supermarket. Five minutes walk to the river side. Plenty of parking around the building and a three minute walk to the nearby retail center.

Great motel, beautiful and clean. Modern interior, carpark and so close to town. Right opposite a super market.

I liked everything. It is a modest hotel with small guest rooms, but very comfortable. Very nicely decorated.

The hotel is very comfortable and lively as the lounge was full of people having drinks and enjoying themselves. The breakfast was bountiful with many different options. The hotel is located in an area near Salzburg that is more suburban and sort of industrial and it was not as close to downtown Salzburg as I had assumed. The night we arrived we walked to an Italian place right behind the nearest McDonalds for dinner. We were so delighted to find an authentic Italian place full of Italian speakers in this suburban and somewhat industrail part of Salzburg. Salzburg is a 15 minute bus ride from this hotel.

The location of the hotel is further from downtown Salzburg than I had assumed. It is a 15 minute bus ride to downton Salzburg.

I had a great stay at Motel One Salzburg. The location is excellent—well connected to public transport and within walking distance to many attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant. I appreciated the good parking facilities, which made things convenient. The bar and lounge area were wonderful—perfect for relaxing in the evening. Also, having a BILLA supermarket nearby was super handy. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely come back!

A couple of suggestions for improvement: offering free parking would add great value, and it would be nice to have complimentary bottled water in the rooms, especially for first-time guests.
