The Little Guesthouse

Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, super coffee and selected snacks, plus wine available all day, bicycles to use at will, nice garden to sit, and eat, in. Easy 20 minute walk along the river (great views of town and castle) to the center of old Salzburg.

Cozy guesthouse, located not that far from the city center (10 minutes by foot). The rooms was very clean and modern. The hosts are very friendly and attentive, gave us clear instructions how to get to the city center and back and suggested several restaurants to visit. There's a parking on sight, which is very handy, since it could be challenging and expensive to park in the city center. Good breakfast.

The pillows were very uncomfortable, there were two of them and both unfortunately very soft.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and treats where very good and plentiful. The property was well maintained and in a nice residential area. Our room was spacious and clean. Be aware there are stairs which might present a problem for some. The only real negative...it was a bit of a hike to get into town, but if you are looking to get away from the major tourist areas, I would highly recommend The Little Guest House.

Great and quiet location. An easy walk to town and close to the free bus if walking is not your thing. Rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with many gluten free options. The staff was amazing! Friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice personal touch to every arrangement. Lovely garden open for breakfast.Very helpful staff with all the tips for making the stay and the local travel within the city very easy.

Lack of an elevator for carrying the bags was obviously not ideal, but was well informed prior to the booking.

- The garden is super beautiful with the most beautiful flowers, there are cute bunnies in it that my son was very happy about.- The decoration is gorgeous, the colors are calming, the toilets are beautifully decorated and the toiletry setting is beautify and handy. - My son made himself at home, he was going up and down by himself, he was very comfortable.- The lady and her husband were nice, her husband helped us take the luggage to our room on the second floor ( no elevator )- Location is very good, the lady owner explained everything and gave us recommendations on where to go, she even called one of the restaurants to try and get us a table, she guided us on where to park because we used our car instead of walk due to the rain, umbrellas provided by the hotel. - The reception/ kitchen area had a coffee machine and cake that was prepared for the guests, which was available 24 hours.- In general the hosts are very sweet and they’ll try and make your stay as pleasant as possible.- Parking at hotel is free

- Beds weren’t so comfortable, we didn’t have a great sleep.- Breakfast didn’t have many selections, and although they are very generous, but because the buffet area is very small, you do get the feeling of the food not being enough to everyone ( it is, they were refilling, but it’s just a feeling ), in conclusion I do recommend you get breakfast in the city nearby.

This was the nicest place that I have ever stayed. The grounds are lovely and inviting. Sitting out there was a pleasure. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were perfect to prepare you for a day of touring and seeing the sights around Salzburg! The rooms were fun and accommodating! Don't miss staying here!

Close to OldTown Salzburg, only 10 minute walk. Staff incredibly welcoming, friendly and readily available to give suggestions for the area. Breakfast was great, many selections and ready for an early start to the day. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was quiet and felt very safe. Plenty of parking for everyone straying there.

I am not have two minor suggestions, one, we would have really liked to have a mini refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold. Two, it would have been nice to have Netflix available on the tv, for we English speakers who need a little wind down in the evening. Difficult to watch tv in German.

Hospitality is off the charts. Wonderful team. Grounds are gorgeous, food is plentiful and varied, walking distance to decent restaurant/beer garden. Comfortable room. A lovely experience.

The bathtub is retrofitted and is higher than I'm used to. No grab bars for stability. I am 5'0" with arthritic knees and it was a big struggle to safely enter and exit the tub -- the tub was so high that I really had to maneuver to step inside with water running, no internal bath mat to control sliipping, and nothing to hold on to. Recommend grab bars for the seniors!

Very nice atmosphere. Big room, clean and with all necessary amenities . Outstanding service. In particular Mario was extremely helpful with advice tips and very patient to answer all questions . It’s a 20’ walk through a park mainly to Old Town; if you have a Car you can park it for free at the Hotel and walk or use bikes at the Hotel.

I liked everything!!

The grounds were beautifully decorated, as was the house. We enjoyed breakfast, which was varied and included healthy options. The parking was an excellent perk, and the hotel’s location was very walkable to most locations in the old town (Altstadt) of Salzburg. We would be happy to stay here again on future visits to Salzburg!

Absolutely nothing

We LOVED staying in The Little Guesthouse. The staff members are wonderful, they made us feel very welcomed, they really went the extra mile for the guests' comfort. The place is pristine clean and the room is very cozy. It's walking distance from the main sights. Highly recommended, we hope to go back someday!

Fantastic pension with a lot of spirit. Beautiful rooms euipped with a taste, good heating as our visit was in January. Very kind host and all the staff. Very good breakfast. We really appreciated the possibility to make tea of coffee in the breakfast room also up to evening and take a cookie or an apple. The walk to the city center with fantastic panorama all the way.

Everything about this stay was excellent. Lovely clean comfortable room. Lovely breakfast. Great staff, location outside the city but a beautiful walk by the river that takes only 15 minutes.Garden to sit in if you want and bikes to use too. We loved our stay
