The hotel was very accommodating for our pets that stayed with us. The rooms were comfortable and a good size for us. The location just outside of town was nice so that we could walk to some facilities and had space to walk the dogs in the evening and morning.

We were disappointed that the menu in the dinner did not include any vegan dishes as we have a medical condition which does not allow the eating of meat products. Also, while we needed to pay for parking, it was not a secure parking area which I normal expect when paying at hotels.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights in February, and it’s a great place to stay with kids. There’s a lovely playroom and a large playground nearby, which was very convenient for our family. The location is excellent — easy to reach the city centre, with several bus stops close by.Special thanks to the administrator, Sofia, who patiently answered all my questions and gave clear, helpful advice. Her support really helped me with an urgent matter.Highly recommended, especially for families.

Breakfast was fantastic, nice modern hotel with new furnishings in the lobby and friendly staff, very good value for the money. The room was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. There is a playroom in the cellar for smaller kids and also a table football game down there, the bar and restaurant were open until late and in general there were always some staff persons around to help out, give tips for travel, etc. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Salzburg.

There was a damp smell in the hallway where our room was, we informed the staff and they said they would look into it. The smell didn't bother us in our room at all, but it was not nice going through the hallway each time. Room was 307.

We had a big room that was clean and comfortable with a great view of the fortress. Breakfast was lovely and varied. Close to the fortress/funicular and a 10-15 min walk into the centre.

No sink in the toilet so had to walk around the sofa to access the shower room to wash hands.

The location was great to visit Salzburg, the staff was helpful, the room had nice modern decoration and was always warm in a snowy beautiful town.

    The room wasn't really spacious.

Great location near everything . Walkable to city , festival and short ride to concert , airport . Rooms comfy ,I had a 2 bedroom w separate loo from shower very efficient and helped us stay out of each others way. There’s a beautiful courtyard in front with flowers and a direct view of the castle so pleasant and convenient for our large group of 9 to mingle . 24 hour bar !!

Room windows let in a nice breeze but no screen so we had to close to keep the flying bugs out .

The hotel is big and very close to old town (10 minute walk). The bus station is right across from it and. The staff was very nice to give us an early check in and they were smiling and polite.

The room is small and the bed isn't comfortable at all which is someyhing we saw in previous reviews. But it is okay for 1 night for 2 people.

Great location, 20min walk from old town and most attractions. Amazing breakfast and great play area for younger kids.

We loved the location and the view of the Old Town Square. The apartment was huge and beautifully adorned. We would definitely stay here again.

    Good breakfast and location

They gave the same room to another person 5 mins after I check in and they open the door while I was changing to start… The card to enter the room didn’t work several times so I need to come back all the way to the reception so they can reactívate it. They ask you if you want to clean or not your room but they don’t take in consideration your opinion they just don’t clean it, the save the planet thing its just an excuse for them to avoid doing it When I went to check out the manager was no available the apprentice unable to take decisions call him but he didnt answer his phone and she just did the check out for me.

    6NikolaosPosted on: 1-6-2026

The location was good, the staff at the reception was friendly, and the room was warm.

Our room was dirty, the floor had chips, hair and dust! The toilet had dust too! We told them to clean , they supposed they did it but only the most obvious places. The corners of the room was still full of dust!!The shower gel in the shower was almost empty and we didn't realize until is was too late.

Great location, easy walk to the central part of Salzburg. And the breakfast was amazing!!!

We had a 'two-bedroom' apartment which is actually just two rooms and no kitchenette or similar (not even a fridge). One 'bedroom' was the living room with the pull-out couch turned into a bed. In my opinion, this would be a one-bedroom suite.

    7PierrePosted on: 1-6-2026

The overall stay was fine and good for the price paid.

The advertisement says it's a 4-star hotel but my stay felt more like an experience I usually get from 3-star hotels, not terrible but not great either. To give concrete reasons; the room itself was not perfectly clean (specifically the bathroom part), some lights in the room were broken (off the wall). Staff were overall fine but not the most welcoming compared to other experiences.

    9KonstantinosPosted on: 1-5-2026

Really comfy bed and pillows. The room and the common domain was clean and joyful. The staff was really pleasant and helpful. Also it is at walking distance from city center and the main attractions.

    10SpyridonPosted on: 1-4-2026

A perfect position to explore Salzburg, with a nice view to the Hohensalburg fortress. Cozy room with everything you need.

The misunderstanding about the room cleaning. Till the last day of our stay, no one has cleaned our room, the result was getting fresh towels and toilet papers from the reception. Despite the fact that we checked the option for everyday cleaning in the tablet in our room. Besides that, there was no other con for our stay in JUFA.

    8DeepabaliPosted on: 1-3-2026

    Quality of room, cleanliness

Staff could be more hospitable. Didn't give us accurate info on whether the tap water was drinkable.

    8IevaPosted on: 1-3-2026

Good location, only 20 min walk from the old town and main tourist attractions. Relatively quiet area. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Everything clean and tidy.

Relatively small room, not really anywhere to put things. We only had hand luggage, but it would be very difficult with suitcases. Poor TV signal.
