Stupid management, not customer oriented.

Firealarm exercise where we had to stand outside in the cold for 20min. Awithout being offered some compensation like free breakfast or at least a drink or so. We did not pay to stay outside in the cold!

Clean modern comfortable room , close to the station and city centre. Flixbus stop . On foot.

Here are some facts. 1. Upon booking they notify you that the parking lot and the breakfast should be reserved in advance. We did so via chat. No response from hotel whatsoever. 2. We wrote againg several days later. No response again. 3. Upon arrival at night there were no staff, just the check-in machine. The machine didn't work at all. There were no way for us to check-in. 4. Luckily some other guests who had the same problem like ours gave us the support's phone number. Overall it took us more than 40 minutes just to check-in. 5. Another check-in machine in the lobby was not working as well. 6. The Wi-Fi was not working, no connection and some error message.

It was a good location right when driving back from Switzerland

Personnel was unfriendly. We were a bit late with checking in. After along drive the last thing i expect is unfriendly defensive manager over the phone. Furthermore we paid for our parking garage ticket but did not get a code sent so we paid without using the garage. I requested the amount back at the front desk the next morning... Again the same defensive an unfriendly attitude until i gave them my phone to scroll through the messages themselves . They would look into it and refund me my amount. It has been over a month now... Absolutely no feedback and no amount.

The whole check in procedure,lack of parking around the block made it pretty tricky.When we arrived was pretty late around 10pm.Last of the staff was just about to leave, he helped us out but clearly he had a long day into office.

Location

Handicapped accessible room with a barrier-free shower without a wall seat or other chair option so I had to sit on the toilet to shower.

Unfortunately, this has been the worst stay I've experienced. I frequently travel and stay at various hotels, but this was my first time using Booking.com, and it turned out to be my worst experience. Unlike other hotels such as Travelodge and Premier Inn, which offer essential amenities like a kettle, this hotel did not provide such basic facilities.Upon entering, there was a pervasive odd odor throughout the premises. My room reeked of cigarettes, which severely affected my daughter's health. The bed sheets also had a strange smell, making it difficult for my children to sleep. Additionally, the room was infested with bugs and moths, which I recorded as evidence.My son developed red rashes overnight, an unprecedented occurrence for him, which worsened the next morning. I attempted to cancel my booking upon check-in, but the reception was closing, which is unusual as most hotels offer 24-hour reception services. It seems like a money-making scheme to charge for tea and other basic amenities that should be included in the room rate.The towels provided were also peculiar and sticky. Disturbingly, the hotel staff entered our room the next day while we were out, despite the lack of a safe for our valuables.Overall, this hotel offered subpar quality for the price we paid. The overwhelming smell of cigarettes severely impacted my family's health. When I tried to address these issues with the manager, I was directed to Booking.com, which was incredibly frustrating.

We stayed at B&B Hotel Villingen-Schwenningen for one night as a stop on our trip to Italy. Initially, we were a bit hesitant due to a previous bad experience with a B&B Hotel in Salzburg, but this hotel exceeded our expectations.The hotel was clean and comfortable, situated in a very calm neighborhood. The city itself is quite peaceful, which suited our purpose perfectly for a restful stopover. A highlight of our stay was the nearby Irish Pub in the park, which served some excellent local food.Additionally, the source of the Danube River is close by and really worth the visit. It was a wonderful and scenic detour on our trip.Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay and would recommend B&B Hotel Villingen-Schwenningen for anyone needing a quiet and comfortable place to rest.

Parking

Hotel is small but cozy, very clean, environmental friendly, easy check-in because we can do self-check in on the machine. AC in the room. Free parking spot available on the street around the hotel, however you can rent a parking space in their garage, but make sure to book it ahead of time before the check in day. Nice breakfast, not many selection but it's enough and taste good.

The location is nothing to write home about but for us it was just a nights stopover so totally fine.
