Greet Hotel Colmar

Staff was very friendly. Restaurant / food was delicious. Very reasonable prices.

Room quality poor. Old and not updated. Bathroom was broken and not very clean.

The rooms were clean, and the kids’ corner was very good and well suited for families with children.

The breakfast was very disappointing and did not meet basic expectations. There were no eggs available, not even for children. When we asked the morning reception manager if eggs could be provided for our kids, the response was rude and offensive. Although we paid for breakfast for everyone, we ultimately had to go elsewhere so the children could eat something. The manager justified this by saying the hotel is “ecological” and that it was low season, which did not make the situation any better. That said, evening reception manager was very helpful, kind and friendly.

Bad and insufficient breakfast, was not a breakfast at all. There were 7 eggs for the whole hotel for over 25 guests, and when i asked for more eggs for our children, the staff was very rude. The explanation was ‘this is the low season, we dont have more’. Besides, the breakfast was very poor, no hot food at all, just some cheese and jam.

Even water was 5 euro, it was too expensive, the room was like dorm. Very small even for two people.

There is a big parking place near a hotel. Staff is very nice. Room was very clean with everything we need inside.

the room was comfortable to use, and had all facilities like airconditioning, a chair and a table and of course a bathroom and shower. The hotel is on walking distance (of a healthy pedestrian) of the historic city center, which is beautiful. Due to the location being about a kilometer from the historic city center, it is easy to approach by car. The breakfast buffet was good. The selection is expansive and the quality is decent.

The space in the room wasn't very large, the hotel is not in an attractive location and the price was a bit high considering those factors. It is not close enough to the historic city center for older and/or mobility impaired people. The parking spaces are relatively narrow for the collection of modern cars that were there when I was.

It was almost close to the center, but walking distance to center was not easy in hot summer, almost 20-25 minutes by walk.

You could not have any snacks or food without reservations in advance. Imagine that you get hungry and you want have a snack in the evening but you can’t and they tell you McDonalds is 5 minutes away! Another thing about staff English proficiency which was not fair enough for communication.

Good location to the old town- about a 25 minute easy walk. That is handy as Parking in the old town is hard to find. The front desk fellow working the afternoon shift on our arrival on Monday (sorry can’t remember is name but he sounded German ) was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good.

The room could use an overhead light as it was a little hard to read a map at night.

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing. First, the door lock to our room didn’t work, and despite reporting it, the hotel refused to change our room. Instead, staff would come and manually unlock the door each time, which was very inconvenient. Not even a complimentary bottle of water was provided, and there was no water available in the room at all.Second, the breakfast was extremely poor. There were no vegetables or fruits—just three types of local cheese (which they seemed overly proud of) and two kinds of ham. Bread options were very limited, with only one type of bread and croissants, which were no longer served 20 minutes before the end of breakfast. Lastly, the rooms were small and not clean. There was barely any space to move around. I accidentally spilled some cream on the bathroom floor and when I wiped it up with toilet paper, the paper turned black—clearly not clean. On top of that, there was almost no toilet paper when we arrived; they hadn’t even replaced the roll from the previous guests.

Nice and clean, cozy shared space/breakfast area. Wonderful breakfast with freshly baked goods. Right off the highway, and a bakery nearby.

Great value for Monday hotel, perfect for business trip in Alsace.

Everything. Walking distance to old town. Good size room. Very modern and comfy. During our road trip, we extended our stay with a night as we really enjoyed the hotel. Great value for money.

Breakfast was very limited choices.The room is very small. No fridge inside the room. No coffee machine in the room. The furniture is old style and very basic inside the rooms.

Very clean room, espacially the bathroom (shower) was very clean.Great beds, almost no sound from neighbouring rooms, amazingly helpful and friendly staff.Very good breakfast and fun comfy breakfast/dinner area.A great plus is the play area for kids with toys and a tv.

The dinner was only available from 19u. Having a younger child makes this a bit to late. But seeing as it is France, the norm is to eat a bit later so no problem at al.

Breakfast was very good. There were different tastes of cheese which we liked very much. The location to reach out to centre is about 15-20 min. by walking. Room was clean.

Unfortunately, almost 2 days the hot water didn't come through. We had to take a shower with cold water. It's been sorted out however this was a bit disappointing for us.

It is about 15-20 min walking distance from the center of Colmar. Some staff doesnt understand english very well.
