- Very Friendly staff. Very!!! Breakfast was good and plentiful. Good value. Easy outdoor parking for a 2.1m vehicle. Safe. Easy access. 15 minute walk to center of old town. Stayed in room 20. Very quiet at the end of the hall. Only slept and showered for one night. Not a hang out room because it was small. That said, they have an outdoor smoker’s lounge in the warmer months. You will definitely get a feel for local life in the surrounding neighborhood which one would miss if they stayed old town center. Again, very friendly staff.

Great location. 15 min walking from city center. Rooms small, but comfortable. Bathroom very small. Staff was super friendly. Hotel put out complimentary warm drinks during our stay. Which was very nice. We didn't try the breakfast but it looked good. Lots of parking spaces. I diffinatly would book this hotel again.
The staff were very kind and helpful Breakfast is very good (great value for the price)
The location was a little bit further out than I expected.Rooms are small but OK.
Clean and the staff were very lovely
It was quite loud
Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, 10-15 walking distance from the heart of the city. Parking available.
Gjosa shower head is terrible! Probably, it saves some water is your goal is just to make your body wet, but is you also need to wash the soap / shampoo off - you'll spend 3x time more for that. Also, it's simply painful.HINT: just twist the shower head off )or bring your own shower head :) )
Quiet, clean, excellent breakfast, charming breakfast garden, plenty of safe parking, very friendly staff.
Friendly staff, variety of breakfast foods, cleanliness
Shower spray and curtain, breakfast too costly, cramped room
The fact it was walking distance to the downtown area was the reason we booked this hotel. Free parking was important as we were driving & the room although very compact was clean and the bed although tight was comfortable. We decided to buy the breakfast both mornings and we are very glad we did… there’s a lot of variety and the various coffee options were a nice touch! Reasonable value at $13 euros per person…..
The room was on the small side which was a bit of a surprise to us when we first checked in…. We got over it!
The staff were very nice and helpful, had bike storage, a wonderful breakfast, in a good location for our bike route.
It was around a 15 min walk to the old town and had free parking
The room was tiny, you could barely move and the toilet was a cupboard with no window that you could not really move in. Should be described as an incredibly small room
Good location for local historic attractions & restaurants.lovely breakfast, helpful friendly staff, off road free parking
All pretty good. bathroom/toilet bit cramped but maybe I should have upgraded to bigger room
The water filling station(cold water is a must in french summer). We liked the own parking where we felt safe to leave the car over night. Comfy bed and practical room(we only stayed for the night but well thought for longer stays).
I dont understand the separate toilet from the rest of the ensemble. Or if u do separate it, build a handwash with it. All in all we really liked our short stay
Very friendly lady on reception when we arrived.Room was very clean and a comfortable bed.The breakfast was excellent.Lots of choice.Perfect location from the historic centre of town.15 min walk.Free parking.
Very small bathroom and toilet area..The bed was also small. But for one night,it was ok.
The room was small, but very good and comfortable for one night. The location was central.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Arc-en-Ciel! It is truly a treasure at the end of the rainbow! You will be lucky if you can find it too! The location is great, out of the hustle-bustle, but easy to get to downtown Colmar. We walked easily each day of our stay! Then, we must thank the “Dream Team”, as they call themselves! They truly are exceptional, each member of the staff made us feel at home, welcome, and we felt their true hospitality! Thank you again, to each dream team member! Thank you, Leo, for your extra help in explaining little French phrases…The terrace was so nice to relax in, the breakfast was superb.. a fine array of quality offerings, but also the ambiance of the breakfast room/outside area too. Our room was clean, right temperature, super comfortable bed, big shower, soft towels. If we could give this hotel an “11” out of 10, we would! Merci beaucoup from the Canadians!
Staff is very friendly, breakfast is good. Hotel itself is very cute. Parking is big and they let us leave our car there after check out.
Room is small so I recommend you to bring only small bag inside. Bed was very comfortable for me but it was short for my husband.
Very helpful and friendly staff, secure bike storage, a very clean room that included a nespresso machine and capsules, and a comfortable bed. The location was an easy 10-15 minute walk to downtown.
Our ground floor room had thin transparent curtains while the more-private alternative was an electric shutter/blind that created total darkness. Something in-between would have been nice.
