The guy at the desk on the morning of January 25 was super sweet and kind and left us with a nice memory. I enjoyed the coffee and the glasses of yogurt at breakfast. It was close to the train station (10 minute walk) and to the center of Colmar (10 minute walk)

I didn’t like that it was super loud. We had a tough time sleeping (and we usually don’t notice noise). Also, the shower head was off of the wall which made for an uncomfortable shower.

It is a good location. About a 10min walk into the center of town. Room was fine, all that you need but nothing extra.

Just an old building and can be loud next to the train tracks if you’re a light sleeper.

Cleanliness, location, breakfast

The receptionists were rude, the room was not warm enough for winter (the room itself had only AC for heating). Although stated in other reviews as well, the staff does not have a solution for the room temperature. The bed was not comfortable, but still ok for a short stay. The room was dark - it was not an issue for us due to a short stay but maybe worth considering. Overall, not the best option for a long-term stay.

It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the main spots. The place is super clean, and being so close to the train station is a huge plus. It made arriving and leaving a breeze since you don't have to lug your bags into the city center (where taxis can't go). We visited in winter and the heating worked well, but the room is equipped with A/C too. Finally, the staff was nice and funny—one even cracked a joke about getting lost in the hotel "labyrinth" (which is accurate).

Great location and staff, but be ready for train noise and room quirksThe trains! You will definitely hear and feel them. I was lucky to have a room on the opposite side which dampened the noise and vibrations a lot, but it’s something to be aware of.​The building is old, and speaking strictly about the room I got (not generalizing here): the layout isn't really optimized. Don't get me wrong, it's fully functional, but there are quirks. The shower head is mounted over the tub's sloped backrest instead of the flat standing area, so standing under it is a challenge. The hair dryer is strangely placed right above the toilet, and I actually had to unplug the nightstand light just to charge my phone. Also, the room is pretty dim since the only light comes from the bedside lamps and a small desk light.

Good location , quite area , near train station and the city center.They allowed us to check in early , around 1pm.

The room is small, needs a better cleaning. The bed is not comfortable.

Shower mount was far gone.Told us there was 24/7 reception but when we wanted to check out, nobody was there nor showed up after 20 minutes.

So cozy, helpful staffs, easy access to station/bus stop, spacious room with big table.

Room was comfortable. Bit noisy at times with trains going by but to be expected given location. Easy walk to most sites.

Walls a little thin, otherwise the property was fine. No complaints, good value.

Spacious and clean room with a large bathroom attached. Super friendly and welcoming staff.Two rows of windows reduce the noise from the train tracks next to the hotel. Only diesel engines can be heard slightly.

Every thing was great.

I love this place because it is spotless and the staff is friendly. I also like the room with TV and super clean bathroom.

It was right next to the train tracks so noisy at times. But I was only woken one time by the trains in the three nights I stayed there.

This was all perfect. Location is amazing , breakfast is perfectly ok , bedroom is very clean and comfortable.

A short walk from the city centre. Was aware of the train noise before booking so no complaints about that. However I found the fact the shower head no holder a bit odd. Staff were friendly and had good English. Has to pull bed to access sockets which was annoying.
