    Pros +

    • 1. The staff was superb. Reception has an amazing command of French, English, and German. They were warm in greeting and always ready to assist in any way they could. Staff who assisted during breakfast were very attentive and always busy re-stocking and cleaning. Cleaning staff (although we did not request any cleaning during our stay) was obviously very thorough and left a note on our door to notify us they had not cleaned our room because we had left the "Do not disturb" sign up, just to clarify to us that if we wanted that service, we would need to remove that sign (presented, as I recall, in French, English, and German). I appreciated they were making every effort to make it clear how to utilize the services they offered.2. The breakfast was always outstanding. There is a wide selection of hot foods (eggs, bacon, crepes, and even baked beans for the Brits!) There are also the standard cold cuts, TONS of delicious cheese, pastries and breads, and a large selection of juices and coffee types that are made easily with picture selections on one of two machines. Do note there is an extra charge for breakfast.3. The parking is paid, and was easy and secure. There is a 10-15min parking area right out front upon arrival. Once you check in and unload, you just proceed up the street and make an immediate left to turn down into their parking garage. They will give you instructions, but you basically press two buttons and they buzz you in. Do know that the second garage door appears that it is about to hit you, as it opens toward you, but it won't. Getting to and from your car to pack back up is an easy elevator ride to level -2.4. The rooms had complimentary coffee/ tea as well as a safe and small fridge, which is always helpful. These were probably the most easy to use showers for Americans, as they were mostly enclosed.
    • Location to Christmas markets and great breakfast
    • A very big disappointment. Definitely not 4 star standard. Was very upset to see a board with prices of the rooms behind a scruffy reception desk, (not welcoming at all)…I paid 100 euros per day more booking with booking . com ! ( Definitely not worth the €400 a night) Room very small and not up to standard …carpets outside rooms not pleasant on the eyes & breakfast very poor ..you cannot even order a fried egg ! Would not recommend !

    Cons -

    • My only complaint was that it was a bit confusing leaving the parking garage. We only accessed the car to arrive and leave, so I have no clue how this is handled if you come and go by car frequently, but we had to go up the wrong direction (left instead of right lane) to enter the exit code, push a button, then have the gate open. Once we realized that, it was easy.

Great location, walking distance from the Christmas markets. The buffet breakfast included was the best during my trip. Happy to see no plastic bottles, only water glass jars to refill. Check-in was fast, and they gave me cookies, which is always a plus!

Location was great. Secure easy parking in garage.

Staff could have been a little more helpful. Hotel felt very crowded at times. Unable to accommodate our family by putting us in rooms on the same floor. Traveled as a family of four and had rooms on two different levels.

Nice and clean. It is very comfortable. The location is ok just in the margin of the center of the city.

Bathrooms could use a security bar in the shower.

Great location, excellent parking facilities, nice breakfast, helpful staff, great base to see Strasbourg and surrounding small villages

    10JOSEPHPosted on: 10-14-2025

The staff were super friendly and helpful. This was our first trip to Colmar and we felt very comfortable. And the breakfast was one of the best hotel buffets I have ever had.

    Location, cleanness, quality.

Lift to go up/down gets crowded

    8HollyPosted on: 7-31-2025

The room was not too small and the location was central. The gym was pretty nice.

For a 4 star hotel it seemed to lack amenities such as proper coffee or water in the rooms, toiletries (just one single general bottle of soap for all purposes) etc.

    Good location

Very uncomfortable beds like sleeping on a board and small rooms

    9StephaniePosted on: 5-8-2025

Best breakfast with many options.Covered parking was a bonus, as well as convenient location of the hotel for exploring the old town Colmar.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room size was great. Design was sleek and nice. Location is great.

    staff at reception was friendly

price value relation for the rooms. Far too expensive for the size of the room.

    8PhilipPosted on: 4-6-2025

Location was fantastic. 10 minute walk to Colmar tourist attractions. Parking was fine, be aware of height limitations but secure and underground. Staff were professional and courteous. Breakfast was okay, nothing to note as exceptional but good overall. Would avoid the 8am rush. 9am onward seemed to be better.

Our recent stay at this charming hotel in Colmar was truly memorable. The hotel's location is ideal, offering a short walking distance to the picturesque Old Town, Little Venice, and a variety of shops and restaurants. The room was upgraded, providing a very comfortable bed, cleanliness, and quietness, ensuring a restful stay. The staff, particularly Ann at the front desk, were incredibly helpful, offering valuable insights and information about Colmar. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future. The hotel's proximity to local attractions and its warm hospitality make it a perfect choice for anyone visiting Colmar.

Water in lobby! Nice front desk staff. Parking lot easy to get in and out of.

I wish the breakfast was more affordable. Rooms were a bit small.

sauna - 24x7 and use of the gymsecure underground car parkNice breakfast buffet.

The relaxing sun loungers have now been taken away. There is a conference room there instead so you have to walk through the gym to get to the sauna.
