    Cons -

    • it’s so far from the center, after 19:00h no buses and we must go by walk 1 hour. Toilets are so bad.
    • There’s no fresh bread. There are insects. All night some insects bit us and we didn’t sleep. Now we are itching
    • Dirty and noisy hotel. It was a one night stop during a longer trip, but even like this it was not appropriate.

Dirty, unsafe, uneatable breakfast - POOR

The facility is quite dirty, they did not provide any towel to use. There are only shared toilets and showers which are poorly maintained. The included breakfast is poor, there were just a couple of slices of baguette and some sort of jab in a shared jar. Nothing else was offered with the breakfast, no cereals, croissant or anything. The Location was horrible and felt unsafe, the customers and people around the facility looked quite dodgy too.

Price quality really goodWe'd expected what we read online.just rhere for a one night sleep. Arrived at 23h and left at 9hElectric charging a few minutes walk which could be an improvement for future.

Toilets could be better but then again no expectations

It was close to the Statue de la Liberté and there was a bus stop nearby to go to the city centre. It was good to have breakfast so you wouldn't be starving in the morning, as it was so far from anywhere. (Don't expect anything special, it's just what it says: break-fast)

The shared shower and toilet areas were unfortunately heartbreaking. Why do they have to be so bad? Maybe they are testing our immune system if we are ready for another pandemic? :)) I strongly recommend you think twice, if not three times, before using the toilets. If there are no other alternatives, it's a place to stay for 1 night, nothing more.Despite everything, the city of Colmar was so beautiful that it made us forget the negative aspects of this hotel.

    Bad

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was dirty and smelled terrible upon arrival, making it impossible to stay. Additionally, the hallways smelled of food, and it was evident that someone was cooking inside the rooms. The smell of tobacco, both in the room and in the hallways, was unbearable. The shared bathrooms were in a disgusting state, and the shower facilities were locked and inaccessible. The hygiene and cleanliness standards were unacceptable, and I had to book another accommodation at the last minute. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff was nice, and the bus stop was very close to the hotel

Beds were very hard, there were bare electrical wires outside our room dangerous hazards

Friendly, helpful staff. The extra stars are for them, and them alone. Close to statue of liberty replica... if you are willing to undergo some discomfort for that.

When I saw the reviews, I thought surely it can't be that bad. Yes, it is that bad! I was aware of the poor rating... but seriously! Man! Unfortunately they didn't say why :-(For starters, the rooms are not that clean. And there are certain parts that clearly never get cleaned (under the beds, between the mattress and the bed, etc.). The walls are grubby and the rooms look like jail cells. The light in the room is fluorecent. Not cosy at all. And the rooms are cold (that wasn't such a problem for me though. I hate overheated rooms. Plus I had a yak's wool blanket with me). My bed linen had what looked like ear wax on it. The toilets are like train toilets and you can only wash hands in your room (which fortunately has it's own sink) not in the toilet or anywhere near the toilet. I didn't even dare look at the showers. I wasn't brave enough. I just used wet wipes to clean myself. Also, the people staying there were all drunk, had several kids in their room, or were knocking on random doors throughout the night. There were also people asking for cigarettes. I think families etc. get a discount for staying long term. A bit like motels in the US for people who can't afford to rent. I heard yelling and loud voices throughout most of the night. Fine for these people, but not those on holiday. It wouldn't be so bad if it cost only 10-20€ a night. If you just want a bed to sleep in and nothing else. But for 45€ (and no private bathroom) it was not good value at all. It was also very far out from the city centre.Tip: Bus D goes there, but not after 19:25. After that, you have to either catch a taxi or walk along the motorway. You also cannot go into town after this time. There are some interesting eating options around there though.

    I do not recomend it.

We paid for breakfast. Nobody told us that we can take the food in the room, they communicated that we have to serve near reception. We waited for free chairs (only 6-8 available fir the entire hotel) and we saw a lot of mans/womens taking the food and coffe în the room. Poor breakfast, no privacy, a girl from the hotel staring at you when eating.Common toilet dirty.

    Bad

If I could, I would give 0 stars. We booked a double room for two nights without expecting anything, given the price we paid. But this was beyond limits: it was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen (after 20 years of travelling in Europe and other continents), entire families live there with their kids and all the corridors and showers smell of pee. Also our room's sink smelled of pee and the floor was sticky, probably never been cleaned at all.We woke up in the night surrounded by bed bugs and asked for another room. But also the other room had bad bugs so we checked-out without completing our stay and asked for reimbursement. I can't comprehend how a place like this is still open. Very bad.

Too many insects, the breakfast is very poor, the bathroom where I clean has a problem with hot water, the rooms are very small, etc.

    6RicardoPosted on: 8-19-2024

    The beds was comfortable

The rooms was extremely hot and there was no air nor fan. It was insoportable during night.

    I got crooked there !

The receptionist could not speak FrenchDespite I personally came to cancel my online reservation, and despite the receptionist ensured me that I would not be charged for the night, I was charged for a vacant room !The outside of the hotel was crowded with families, searching some fresh air. It looked like a zoo rather than a hotel !

Good overnight stay for when you're on a roadtrip or passing through! Great price. We're roadtripping with three people so the room that fit three people in it was perfect for us. Helpful and chill staff!

My car was scratched in the parking lot by another car :(

the shared bathrooms and small room with no ac.

    3ShanPosted on: 7-15-2024

skip this, if travelling with family. only take it for one night stand if you're out of budget.

shared bathroom with dirty toilets & shower which could not be changed to warm temperature and pouring like waterfall! smelly pillows, mosquitos, nor airflow and cramped. pratty much everything not good in order, feels like cheap flat rooms.
