Hôtel Quatorze

The room came with many amenities like good soap/shampoo, shaver, toothbrush, toothpaste, water boiler, lockbox, etc.

The customer service was horrible. The reception was extremely rude with us because we arrived early and asked to store our luggage with them until check in. They gave us the cold looks and didn't speak to us. In the US this type of service wouldn't fly.

Wonderful air conditioning on a terribly hot day . Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly . Terrific location .

The location is very good

Relying on the images and descriptions of the hotel on Booking.com, I made a reservation from the 'lux suits' section, that is, as a spacious and with a jacuzzi. And I gave a significant price difference for this. However, the room given to me was a bungalow-style two-story room other than the main building, which was not very spacious and did not have a jacuzzi, number '3'.

Clean and had elevator! Staff were very nice.

Very hard to locate with little signage to point out the property, especially at night. Breakfast wasn't much.

Great location - in the center of old town close to museums, attractions and good restaurants. Very friendly and very helpful staff.

Breakfast was good, a bit pricey. Air conditioning Was great to have as it was very hot during our stay. Staff was extremely helpful and very nice.

Room was very hot, only way to cool it down was opening windows. Ceilings were very low. And the jacuzzi was broken, so it was just a bathtub. And there was some debris in the bathtub.

It is a very central location. The staff was very polite and very helpful. Good breakfast. The bed was very comfortable.

There is no parking but dropped out things off at the hotel. Then we went and parked at the Saint Josse parking which is 10mn walk and 3 Euros a day. It worked really well like this.

The location is very good.

The check in was done by the cleaning lady, she was not very welcoming and quite rude. she forgot to inform us that we needed the light card for the room to get in to the courtyard in the evening. Which ment that we had to climb over the fence to get in to our room when we returned in the evening. The towels all smelled very bad of a sour washing machine. I am defiantly not coming back, and am very glad that we had only booked it for one night.

Very well located and kind staff

The curtains didn’t cover the window thus it couldn’t be darkened, the publicity is a bit misleading. we got the impression that standard rooms would have a bath but they didn’t.

Very clean, modern, and 30 seconds from the main centre area in Colmar.

Very friendly Staff. Chris surprised my wife with a cake and candle for her birthday at breakfast. That was really sweet.Private spa area is also great.Room with bathtub I can also recommend.We enjoyed our stay a lot

Water could have been hoter in the shower.

Big bathtub (unclean headrests though). Very close to city-center/old-town. Nice staff. Comfortable bed. Spatious enough room.The cleaning staff was able to hold on to our luggage as we came in early before check-in, which is always nice.

Shower has no walls/glass, so the whole bathroom gets full of water everywhere. Half-broken bathroom sink's faucet (wobbly)The biggest issue for us with the room we had (and I assume the others?) is the noise. The walls are paper-thin. Unfortunately there was a couple with baby next room which was very annoying, you can also hear the staff somehow (in their lobby!).

Great location, spacious room, whirlpool bath and excellent Continental breakfast. Chris, the manager, was helpful with dining recommendations and a lovely guy! Clean towels and room cleaning daily which doesn’t happen everywhere nowadays.
