Hotel Am Kupferhammer

Location was convenient. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Easy self-check-in.

The only suggestion we have is they replace the carpet with wood or vinyl plank. The carpet in our room looked old and dirty. Otherwise, we had an excellent stay.

Good room, except for the fitted carpet which is showing its age, a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows, good quality sheets and a modern renovated bathroom. Simple breakfast but quite adequate, good coffee machine, a decent selection of sweet and savoury choices, and friendly staff at reception. I had a room on the ground floor at the back, it was quiet with proper black-out curtains and I slept really well. I walked to the town centre in less than 20 minutes. There is a large supermarket and a restaurant nearby.

For the price I was expecting something better, but Tübingen is expensive and it was during the Chocolate festival so there were very few options left closer to the centre, all more expensive. All in all, a positive experience.

I liked the historic look, that it was close to my work location and close to restaurants and the grocery. Walking to everywhere I needed to go was very convenient. I also liked that the rooms are clean and modern.

I would have liked to have had someone available during check-in but the self check-in was not difficult. So not a big deal.

The location to the old town, breakfast and parking were all good. Staff were friendly. Like for like value for money accommodation it was on the lower side.

The room was very small and the furniture did not allow for easy access to an open medium size suitcase for each traveller; only a small area of the floor. However the room was well suited for a traveler with minimal luggage.

We wanted the big room and we got a HUGE room. 120 square meters is huge. It was clean, the stuff was exceptionally helpful (especially Mr. Rainer Susser) and they got out of their way to help. Great

We stayed in the apartment on the top floor, which is very spacious. It worked well for my sister and me who visited Tübingen for an extended weekend with my dad. The hotel has free parking and is located quite close to the city center. A supermarket that's open till midnight is across the street. We had very little interaction with the staff but the couple of times we did talk to them, they were very friendly and helpful.

There's wall-to-wall carpet in the bedrooms that had not been vacuumed properly. We had two different coffee machines, which is good, but we were missing a toaster. The apartment is in need of a few fixes: some light switches didn't work or didn't have a bulb connected, a shutter was difficult to handle/stuck, the fuse box in the bathroom was missing a cover, and several electrical wires from light fixtures were floating around without lamp shades or bulbs! The staff took note of these and promised to inform the managers.

This clean, tidy accommodation with parking is located near the old town. The booking communication was good and the access to the accommodation was flexible. The size and equipment of the room were completely adequate. The staff is kind, the breakfast is of high quality and plentiful. I recommend this small hotel to everyone.

Everything was fine.

Very clean and comfy. It was quiet at night. The instructions to get in the room were very clear without worrying about finding the owners. The breakfast was marvelous.

It was a hot day / night so the room was very hot overnight. There is no air conditioning or fan.It’s a choice between closing the blinds to keep our traffic noise and light versus leaving the blinds open and having more air.It’s quite a walk in to the old town, but you know this in advance

The check-in system was excellent! With a code provided you're essentially able to check in at any time.The windows had shutters to provide extra security while the windows were fully open. They also blocked out the sun and street noise.Comfortable beds and clean rooms The breakfast was fresh and the staff made you feel welcome first thing in the morningJust down the road from the local supermarket as well.The local coyote cafe just around the corner is a must for lunch or dinner with great prices and friendly staff.

Lovely, friendly staff and the room was very clean. Good location close to a small train station and supermarket, and a pleasant 20 min walk into the town centre. Breakfast foods were fresh and tasty.

As others have said - the rooms are pretty expensive for what they are (probably because there are so few other hotels in Tubingen). Wifi could be upgraded and maybe just a basic kettle and two cups in each room?

The room had large wardrobes to store clothing, and the bathrooms were bright and clean. Good location near a grocery store and a 20 minute walk from the old town center and a one minute walk from a train station.

The wifi was horrible and kept cutting out. My bedroom's window looked directly at the cars parked outside, i could see through the windshields which were parked up against my window. And unfortunately the curtains were not long/wide enough to fully cover the windows so I often had to be careful when changing, etc.

Renovated rooms, parking, close to the center. Stuff very nice and its a great stay for 1-3 night.

The outside jealousy in the room could be washed as they are next to the street so they get dirty quickly.But the stuff was very nice and helpfull.
