Great location, excellent breakfast

From the check-in to the hotel bar and the breakfast the next morning, the staff was most welcoming and accommodating! We celebrated my mum's 70th birthday here and I had let the staff know about it and the fact that we were travelling with 2 little kids. All the staff were incredibly kind with the kids and wished my mum a happy birthday whenever they saw her.The rooms were modern and the beds were very comfy, the breakfast was excellent too!

Location: directly on the river, in the center of town, everything is close. Breakfest: abundant and tasty. Rooms comfortable and clean, the beds very good.

I hated that I had to leave. No: fun aside: what is not to like about it? Excellent Hotel.

Location and room is new and clean

Only one bottle of still water was given. No kettle for hot water or coffee/tea.

Location was just a 5 min walk from the main square. Public parking garage directly beside the hotel. Got the top floor in the hotel so very spacious. Bathroom and room very modern, spotless clean. The bed was very comfortable. Great place to stay when visiting the Black Forest. There was a festival on when we stayed (mid-September) which was very enjoyable and great to see so many people in the city enjoying themselves. Would return!

Breakfast was fantastic. Freshly prepared REAL eggs were delicious. Rooms were modern and comfortable and exceeded my expectations. Staff were very helpful.

location was noisy at night as I was on the street side. will ask for a riverside room next time. Would like a coffee machine in the room.

Very nice breakfast with a nice variety! Breakfast staff in the morning is very friendly and the service is very good! Location is amazing as it is within short walking distance rom the centre and also has easy access with car and you do not need to drive through the centre to get there! Room was excellent !

Excellent and friendly service from staff at reception. We were a large business group, but they handled all our requests smoothly. There were no problems with checking in and out at all.

Excellent breakfast, not only high quality food but also cozy and well organised space. Sauna area was spacious, well equipped and well organised.

The hotel is hard to find by car, the address they give is not recognised by the navigator and you find yourself running in circles. When in the end I found it I couldn't park and I had to drive back to a nearby parking. On checking in, I informed the staff in charge, the reply was: "yes, we know, you should have phoned in advance". This way of dealing with a customer's problem is very bad, imo.

Breakfast was limited in options, but what was available was high quality and delicious. The staff was excellent and met our every need. The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked well during 92F heat, and the cleanliness was superb.

Our room was fantastic, but the vaulted windows could not be covered, letting large amounts of light into the room at an early hour. The rest of the stay was fantastic and we highly recommend everything else!

Bed pillows are not optimal for sitting and reading in bed.There needs to be more hooks in the bathroom for clothing and other items.

Room decor. Very dark, industrial style, modern. Bathroom sink and mirror is in the main sleeping area, shower is fairly open, no door.

We loved everything about our stay at Domizil. The small garden by the river was lovely and relaxing, the breakfast was superb, the rooms were very clean and had everything we needed (a small fridge would have been nice, but we were able to buy cold drinks at the reception - so all good), and the location was perfect.

Excellent location and great to sit in the terrace for a drink or breakfast with nice shade from the trees. Carpet in room was a bit too long for our liking so we kept our sandals on, but other than that everything was great. Ample parking in lot next door (no validation, perhaps that’s an American thing?) and staff was very kind and helpful with directions and guidance in the area.
