Pros +
- Small clean modern hotel. Room opened onto a large patio overlooking a green hill. Walking distance to the university. Cosy restaurant for breakfast and dinner in the semi-cellar.
- Location great.able to walk downtown in 20 minutes. Room was small but fine for the two of us. Only complaint was that the carpet in the room was really worn and needed cleaning or replacing. Free parking at back of hotel. Delicious breakfasts!
- Our triple room had a beautiful view over green hills, it was very spacious and had a lot of storage room and seating, so we felt comfortable spending time in there during a rainy day. Room and bathroom were newly renovated and very clean. With the double window panes it was completely quiet in spite of the noisy road. Breakfast was fresh and plenty, and the breakfast hours were long (7-10 am). The parking behind the building was convenient. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. To get downtown you could either walk for 20 min or take the bus right on the street.
Cons -
- WiFi was too weak. Could not use skype or load google maps. Hotel required an annoying agreeing to terms every time to log on, which says they do not guarantee WiFi signal. But I paid for a hotel room with WiFi, so I expect WiFi to be usable.
- Only complaint carpet in room was old and worn.
- Room and bathroom were quite small but fine for a single traveler. The view out the window was of a neighboring house-wall which was smeared with graffiti and an offensive slur which seemed to be targeted at guests of the hotel.

The location is close to the university and to public transportation. Breakfast was good. Check-in was very easy with clear and timely directions and exactly as described. Free on-site parking a definite plus for travelers with a car.

Nice clean room! Very small but cute
I thought breakfast was included but it wasn’t but maybe I just misread!
breakfast was very good. location near centre in quiet area. staff were good.
lack of heating in the rooms, bathroom radiator worked, but bedroom did not, was given a thicker quilt to help with the cold. not good in the middle of winter.
Lovely small hotel on the outskirts of Tübingen. Comfortable room and friendly staff.

Bad
The owner is not at all a good host! She is ridiculous because she don’t like my perfume and bring me injuries ( that i stink ) and because i told her to change my room because internet doesn’t work at all she was so angry and told me to leave the hotel and never come back! The room was old furniture and by the windows not have dark curtains or something to make dark in the room if you want to sleep! And the stinky dog ( big one ) what is every day on the front door by entrance is not a good or safe feeling ! If you are not from Germany don’t go there she doesn’t like tourists ( rasist) !
Miserabel
Nobody there for check in , needed help from other guests to get wifi access to be able to retrieve email for access to my room.
Clean & Comfortable space. Convenient location for our needs, close to university & to bus stops for exploring the rest of the city. Hotel staff was helpful with all of our requests.
Staff and Owner of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming
There were no faults it was a beautiful small hotel very clean
Accomodation was nice, since I got there at 9 pm.
Breakfast was poor. Better have 1-2 options that are fresh instead of leftovers from 30 different products. The coffe and the lady serving it were nice.
Nice aircon, clean room and nice spacing for the room (we had a three x single bed room), and clean bathroom shared with just a couple of others. The owner made it very easy for us to check in and out and kept in touch with us nicely throughout the day of arrival. Also provided nice parking for us.
Location, free parking
Random and very limited opening hours. There was a mixup with the reservation and the owner had booked us a 2 person room even though I had booked one for three (with wrong ages for the kids, something went wrong with Booking com). Owner / lady messaged me when we were at the airport renting a car and gave a one-hour reply window, after that she didn’t reply. She asked for more money and didn’t tell why. We had to drive to Tübingen without knowing if we have a room or not. The room was really hot and if you opened the windows, wasps and a hornet(!) flew in. The reception was supposed to be open until 20:00 and I was at the place at the right time but there was nobody there, just a phone number. The owner tried to lecture me on the phone for making a mistake in booking. I had no bedsheets on the sofa I had to sleep on. Really inconvenient and stressful start for our trip. This place has no idea of what hospitality means.
I would never stay at this hotel again!
In summary, I will never stay at this hotel again, and I will prevent anyone I know from choosing this hotel! As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't even classify it as a hotel. The cleanliness was appalling; I found the corpse of a dead bug on the windowsill in my room, and given its desiccated state, it had clearly been there for a while. Opening the window revealed it was covered in cobwebs. The bathroom was extremely cramped; you couldn't even sit on the toilet properly due to the lack of space for an adult. The toiletries were in inconvenient sachets, which were difficult to use. The shower door made a harsh, unbearable noise when opening and closing!Upon checking in, no one informed me of the Wi-Fi password, and there were no instructions in the room. Later, I realized it didn't matter much because the Wi-Fi signal was so poor that even when connected, I couldn't do anything, not even check my emails. I left a charger in the room when I checked out. I returned around 3 PM to retrieve it, only to find the hotel deserted. I called the contact number posted on the door, and a lady told me she wouldn't be available until 7 PM, so she couldn't return my charger and suggested I buy a new one. Can you imagine? A hotel that doesn't operate until 7 PM! This is exactly why I question whether it can even be called a hotel! If all this had happened at a place costing 50 euros per night, I might have understood. But considering the price of 110 euros per night, I feel like I completely wasted my money. Normally, I wouldn't write a comment after a stay, but I hope the hotel feels my anger through this comment.
Room quiet in a calm suburban part of the city, assuming you have a reason to visit there.
- wifi not working (didn't connect to any devices) - phone not working (totally dead not even a dial tone)- room booked was a triple and advertised as a single plus double but was actually a double plus a fold out sofa (which was not made and there were no sheets avail, nor could any be made avail as there was no staff at reception nor in the hotel on a Saturday afternoon/evening)- no access to an iron/ironing board- staff/owner unfriendly - informed me that I was not staying at a 5 star hotel when I asked for an iron at 6pm on a Saturday
This small but nice hotel is perfect for a short stay. The room is not very spacious, but equipped with everything you need and of course clean. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. The location is also very good, close to the Tübingen Hpf and the bus station. Although there aren't many choices for breakfast, it's still a good deal considering the price (8 Euro).
The only problem is that the soundproofing is not very good during the day. The arrangement of each hotel room is close together, so sometimes you can hear the noise from the hallway and your neighbors. But at night the hotel is quiet.
Access to the city busses via a nearby bus stop. Good budget option, international standard.
Can be challenging to find staff if you have questions or requests.
good breakfast, clean and quiet room, kind stuff
Clean. Busstop not far away. Helpful staff.
Very bad Wifi. Next to a larger road.
