Maurers Zollamt Hotel

The hotel was just as advertised: Simple, elegant, & modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a place I'll stay again.

I like that there was free parking and the hotel was in walking distance of the train and grocery store. The staff was really nice and accommodating and there was a great internet connection. Very quiet neighborhood and relaxing.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable but maybe that is normal for the German culture (low, medium bed). The breakfast was fresh but I thought a little expensive however if you don't feel like going anywhere it will do the job.

It was extremely clean + had a to of charm.

Parking not enough

The gentleman on the evening shift was a very nice man, welcoming and helpful. He worked very hard to meet customer expectations.

The hotel is owned by a company and the lady in particular was very rude to her staff. I found this very off putting.

Small bathroom with small showerThe property is advertised as a 4 star design hotel but it's more like a guesthouse with a nicer lobby. It's in a residential area well out of the city centre. It's strongly overpriced for what it is.

Everything was excellent except for the parking. And that was just pain that we had to do street parking because the parking lot was tiny. The couple that runs it were very friendly and helpful!

Hotel is fantastic. Staff are always very friendly. Room and facilities are very clean. Room was very quiet and clean. Bed was comfortable.

The location was great . It was very easy to get around town from there. The people that run it were very pleasant.

Very nice owners, always kind and helpful. Single rooms were totally sufficient. Breakfast was very good, coffee selection was excellent. Charging possibility for electric vehicles available.

Without elevator to the beedroom, on the first building. Staying at the 3rd floor, it is a little bit staffed.

This is a clean city hotel, nearby the train station. The hosts family is very hospitable. If you are looking to visit Kaiserslautern, this is the place of choice to stay.

My wife didn't like the breakfast. The breakfast and hotel are pretty expensive for what they offer. Better not to take their breakfast offer. There are many places to eat outside.

The owner was really friendly and accommodating. The room were large with a great garden view. Very quiet. Breakfast was yummy. All in all, it was a really pleasant stay. Can only recommend it.

The staff and owners were fantastic as always, and it is such a wonderful treat to get to stay at Design Zollamt! As I continue to say, this hotel is second to none in Kaiserslautern!
