Breakfast is fantastic, with a lot of choices. Room is small but large enough for sleeping.

The price is a little bit high compared to the place.

Very clean hotel located in the center of Auerbach which is a suburb of Bensheim. Excellent breakfast buffet was continental style with an added omelet or eggs station. Fresh bread, cold cuts, cheese, cereals, fruit etc. Dining room was open late and had an excellent schnitzel on the menu. Coffee machine made excellent coffee. There is a loose leaf tea bar is the best way to describe it. Over 20 containers of various types of tea in loose leaf style. Private parking was only crowded for one night, otherwise plenty of free parking. Booked a larger room and it was worth it. Near the front desk there is a self service coffee and tea station available 24X7 with some cookies available for an afternoon snack. Automated check-in is available if the front desk is not staffed. The hotel is advertised as being from 1655. In the summer time there is an outdoors area where they serve food and drink.

The decor is from the 1970s or 1980s. Vivid colors which is not a big deal for me. The only real negative is the lack of a refrigerator in the room.

Beautifully situated, friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was exceptional!

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the complementary coffee/water/cookie corner.

Unfortunately, due to the building being rather old, there was no air conditioning.

The fire alarm in the hotel went on 01:00 ! Everbody was evacuated but no further explanations from the staff.Rumors were that the night porter burned a tosti in the kitchen

Nice hotel (stayed with our dog)! Freshed cooked omelette during the breakfast is amazing.

The convenient position with free parking.The rooms are cozy. A warm beverages machine is at disposal of the guests for free in the entrance hall.

Centrally located. Near some good restaurants. Free parking. Free Coffee lunge is an added bonus.

Hotel parking for electric vehicle charge (2x) was occupied by non-electric cars.

Wellness and sauna. And Czechoslovak historical motorcycles in the cellar!

Good sized room, central in this little village. Parking behind the hotel. Offered free wine as the restaurant was already closed for x-mas.

Room was towards the main road.

Awful

- Car park was not available when I arrived and the hotel had not advised me there was no parking, so I had to park on the street, or navigate the tight lanes behind the hotel in the dark.- room smelled like body odor- curtains did not close properly and one window did not have a curtain, so light from the patio lit the room- door was paper thin and let in noise from the hallway, and let in light under the door- my room was not cleaned- all in all a pretty awful hotel

All in all ok Like German grandma Style back in the 80th

Style, shower was tiny but clean , no white rolls for breakfast

The restaurant is pretty good with a good local wine selection

The rooms at the street are noisy and warm so opening a window is not an option. I think the rooms and public areas could benefit from a more contemporary touch-up

Breakfast is great--Freshly baked eggs and bacon. Nice fruit and bread types available. Breakfast room has WIFI and therefore INternet connection possible during Breakfast. Sauna/Wellness area is small but a great area and relaxing.

All is fine at Parkhotel Krone.
