Nells Park Hotel

The Restaurant served good food in the evening and restaurant staff friendly. Bed comfortable .

Location to the city was too far out . Radiator in our room was not working so room temperature was cool . I would have expected tea and coffee in room for the price - Breakfast in morning was mediocre.

- good breakfast and good kitchen over all. Dinner was nice as well.- staff was very friendly.- Wellness was nice!!- good green initiative to be able to deny cleaning and get a small gift to compensate. - they provided all the information you needed

- there wasn't a kettle in the room so you had to go to the lobby to fill your cups with water if you wanted to drink tea in your room. - narrow space to shower.- the hotel is a bit far from the centrum, but you get a nice park in return and with enough space to park your car (which you do have to pay for unfortunatly).

Room was a good size but a strange shape with quite old furniture. other rooms look more modern, were more recently decorated and had new furniture. The shower worked well but located in the corner near the toilet so you had to either sit in toilet sideways or bump your knees which wasn't ideal! There was an added bonus of small gift if you didn't need room made up/cleaned. Breakfast was good but not much choice for cooked food. However the evening meals provided were first class, great service and value for money. The main restaurant is beautifully decorated and excellent choice of wine and staff very knowledgeable and service was impeccable. great spa was an added bonus.

Pillows were very uncomfortable and no extra pillows available in room. Toilet was very close to shower cubicle.The room was on lower ground floor, dark with no view and people walking past could look down and see in so kept curtains drawn all the time. We used the electric charging facility which was nice to have but recording the cost was very hit and miss and reception staff admitted that they had charged us the wrong amount to our account!

Upgrade felt like a downgrade, we wanted a room looking to garden and we were given a room in -1 level which seen just the bushes. The receptionist should have updated us

They don’t have many more hours of available time for massages. But anyway was very good the stay and staff.

1. Rooms are unbearably hot.There are no air conditioners or fans. The heat inside the rooms is suffocating, including at night. During the day, it is absolutely impossible to stay inside. In summer, this makes the stay extremely uncomfortable and almost unbearable.2. Not kid-friendly at all.There are no play areas anywhere in the hotel, no toys, no kids’ playroom, and nothing at all for children in the sauna area—not even a small plunge pool. Families with children will find absolutely no facilities or entertainment here.3. Misleading location.While the hotel is technically set in a green park area, it is actually located in an industrial zone. Most importantly, it is right next to a shelter for refugees from various countries. As a result, the park is often full of drunk and suspicious individuals, openly drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana. This makes the area feel unsafe, particularly for families.4. Unprofessional and sometimes unfriendly staff.Some reception employees were shockingly rude and cold, speaking to us in an unwelcoming manner upon check-in. After check-out—long after we had left the hotel—we received bizarre and unreasonable demands, including a charge of €75 because our 2-year-old child had urinated on the bed. This is unacceptable, especially given that the hotel never provided a crib, forcing our toddler to sleep in the same bed with us. Charging guests for such incidents, particularly when the hotel failed to offer basic child accommodations, is outrageous. We managed to find the solution with deducting this form the extra charge at the end but tbh it was really leaving a bad aftertaste

There was no airco in the room.There was no refrigerator for your own drinks in the nights or a fast snack.There was no tv in English There was no big light in the sleeping room

Staff at front very helpful once told the room was not cleaned all day and it was nighttime.

No slippers in the room even though we had spa access. No one was seemed be working at the spa? No menus translated to English

Comfortable and quiet room. Loved the initiative of a surprise treat left at your door if you opted out of room service. Gym facilities were basic but cleanSpa facilities included were good value. Good selection of coffee choices at breakfast Nice bar area and dinner experience

Breakfast food was fairly basic and lacking choice of freshly cooked eggs etc A fair walk from the city but with regular bus from outside.

The only thing which I find very very very weird is pricing. They are not transparent with it. They put just cheapest rooms on booking with a view to the parking, but at the arrival suggest you a "nicer room to the park"...for extra 10 euro. Breakfast they also not include and you pay 15 euro extra and of course parking (despite that it suburb in an empty area and parking is triple as big as the possible amount of guests) they gonna charge you extra for it as well. 8 euro a night.so count at least 35 euros on top of your price.Instead of being transparent and put options, you come at location full of frustration, and if you drive 500-700 km it is the last thing you want to here and decide at the reception.

The people are kind and want to be helpful nonetheless.

Not the hotel we hoped for as we paid a high price for a small room without airco. The queen size beds are two single beds pushed together (making the sleep very uncomfortable). We were looking forward for an evening in the wellness after our day-hike, but it had already closed as we arrived after dinner. The wellness also doesn't open up before check-out. We just did not enjoy our stay here at all.

Nice business-style hotel set in a park. Not very near the town centre but good parking and restaurant fine. Good staff, especially our waitress.
