Pros +
- Cutest hotel ever. The rooms on 4th floor larger than any other rooms in Europe. The restaurant on first floor was good and the breakfast was great.
- Comfortable room for the price. Very convenient located directly in the Heidelberg square.
- We were planning to go to Paris, but the transportation strike prevented that. This hotel was so great Iâ≢m happy we ended up here instead. Our room was gorgeous and we felt luxurious at this location.
Cons -
- No, it was perfect.
- Tiny shower. If you are a semi-large or large person the shower is almost impossible. Our room had a significant slant from the windows to the door. If you have a balance problem this might not be the hotel for you.

The location cannot be beat! We had an amazing view of the square and cathedral from our room. The floor of our room was slanted which we thought added to the charm, but could be an issue for some. Amazing service and very clean rooms. The restaurant downstairs had delicious dinner and a plentiful breakfast.
Great location! Close to train station and Christmas markets! Breakfast was wonderful!

Great location. This is a darling place. We had the family room with windows that opened above the town square (and Christmas Market). Fabulous! Upstairs from a lovely restaurant - so cute/and so festively decorated. Wonderful breakfast buffet in nice eating area. Restaurant had good options and very nice staff. I wished we had stayed longer.
The location is wonderful and the building is charming. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was hearty.
The room and bathroom were both small, though adequate for one person.
Location! It was located right in the heart of the old town in Heidelberg. The beds were among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! Your staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was excellent!
Nothing! I will definitely book here in the future!
Location and onsite restaurant were excellent. Rooms clean and spacious coffee, tea and refrigerator in room. Nice comforters.
4th floor rooms have height restrictions and one flight walk from lift. Bed was soft.
Location, breakfast, restaurant
A lovely welcome and our room was spacious and reasonably comfortable, although the lounge could be upgraded to a more comfortable one. The wifi worked well, and the breakfast had several choices. The location is excellent for exploring the old town part of Heidelberg - we walked to everything once there.
One of the staff wanted to argue over whether or not we were entitled to the welcome drink that is offered to guests on a notice in their room. After I emailed via Booking.Com, the manager responded quickly and advised that we were, and a glass of prosecco for each of us was left in our room (whilst we were out for dinner!). It was unpleasant at the time from this one person whilst all the other staff we encountered were very nice.
The location was perfect. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It didn’t have all the electronic bells and whistles and we liked that. The breakfast buffet was just the right mix of choices and loved the idea of boiling your own eggs to your own liking. Definitely would book again.
Excellent location next to the church. Lots of space, clean and large bathroom, extra futon, and nice sitting area with view of the plaza.
Missing warm breakfast items, like scrambled eggs and bacon.
The staff was very nice and helpful. We came on "Ruhetag" so we had some troubles to get in the hotel. It is a very cute hotel right in the center of the old town. It is a nice place to stay. We would stay again.
We were looking forward to have dinner at the hotel but it was a "Ruhetag". The staff suggested to us a place to have dinner. But that was very crowded. No big deal maybe next time.
The location is excellent, right in the old town square pedestrian zone. Parking in a public car park is located around the corner, approximately a one-minute walk away. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the town square. The room was very good, but it did not have facilities for tea or coffee, which was a disappointment. The breakfast was good with many choices.
Coffee and tea facilities, and a mini fridge in the room.
Great location in the city centet of wonderful Heidelberg. Small and nice family hotel. Tadtey breakfest with a large veriety of options. Homy feeling. Large room. Comfortable beds.
The bathroom was not super clean.
I loved my attic room on the 4th floor. It was specious with great views of the castle and main square.
Centrally located, great breakfast cute rooms!
The location is OUTSTANDING! We had a beautiful view of the church square from our windows. This hotel is perfect for visiting Heidelberg. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were so friendly and helpful! The rooms and beds were so comfortable. However, this hotel does not have air conditioning. It was unusually hot in Heidelberg during our stay. We did have fans in our rooms, though. And, it did cool down during the night. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! I would definitely stay here again!
It was a little hot in the rooms, especially on the 3rd floor. We requested rooms close or adjoining. Our teenage children were directly above us on the 3rd floor while our room was on the 2nd floor. It was not a huge deal as our children are older teenagers. However, this arrangement would not have worked out so well with younger children.
Prime location. Good breakfast. Quaint albeit older style rooms.
No real reception area for the hotel.
