    Pros +

    • The location was amazing. We were in the center of everything. The view from the room was great. The staff member that greeted us in the morning made us feel very welcome and made the breakfast enjoyable and checkout easy.
    • I like the location and this was my 3rd time staying with them.
    • My room had a view of the Neckar River and Heidelberg castle. It was exactly what I wanted.

    Cons -

    • It lacked air conditioning. The room, as expected was very dated, the bed we slept on lacked a leg and so it tipped throughout the night, but we knew what to expect because of previous reviews. The view and location is what you are paying for.
    • This is minor, I couldn’t find the outlet by the bed. When I was packing up to leave, I found it behind the bed by the radiator.
    • I don't really have any complaints.

The location was absolutely amazing! It’s located right next to the Old Bridge and close to town. Friendly family who own the hotel. Great service.

It has no lift but the people in the property were amazingly helpful with carrying luggage up and down the stairwell.

Location couldn't have been better - just steps from the Old Bridge. Breakfast was filling. Room was a good size with comfy linens.

It must be a European thing because here and in other cities in other countries the beds are SO low to the floor. No other complaints.

Location is good, staff are great. Breakfast is good.

Hotel is old, no A/C and no lift.

This quaint hotel was in a great location. It was right along the river by the bridge. It was very close to the old town and shopping and restaurants. The parking was not directly on site so we dropped off the luggage and brought it to the room and then we went to park the car which is probably about a half a mile walk from the hotel. Definitely do not try to wheel your luggage back to the parking lot after checking out as you may break your wheels. The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was sparse but good. Lots of fresh rolls, jams, cheese cold cuts, cereal, hard or soft boiled eggs, coffee, tea and juice. Also a few fruits. The bed was comfy and I would definitely stay there again. Keep in mind, there is no elevator. We were on the first floor so it wasn't an issue. There is also Heidelberg Castle, that if the funicular is working you take that, otherwise the free bus will take you. This is the photo of the room for two which is listed as two beds but they're put together.

    Location in the Altstadt

Limited parking to offload bags. Then have to drive to a find a car. However hotel did give a discount code for a local place

Great location directly at the stone bridge. Bus stop directly across the street. Bedroom was comfortable & quite spacious. Good water pressure & temperature in the shower. Solid Wi-Fi. Bar fridge in the room. Overall, decent value for money.

A bit dusty in places - especially on the drapes. Bathroom was cramped.

Amazing location, right in the old town of Heidelberg and right next to the old bridge. The room was very charming, comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The beds and pillows were excellent. It was the most comfortable bed of our entire trip. The location was perfect and the staff was eager to help us with our questions.

    Nothing comes to mind.

Convenient location, easy check in, friendly breakfast staff and helpful check out staff

No in room service, short hot water time for showers.

    Awesome River View. Enthusiastic Staff.

No water or soft drinks available for purchase probably due to lack of space. Not their fault.

    8GailPosted on: 10-17-2024

Situated overlooking the river and old city just fabulous.

No lift for older folk like us and on the 4th floor.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. The location was perfect for being in the old town.

N/A I liked everything about the visit.

    7MohanadPosted on: 9-29-2024

Perfect location with great view on the bridge and river. The breakfast was good but it could have more varieties.

The stairs to the third floor with laugage was not an easy task. A bit overpriced.

Great location, great room, great staff and very clean!

No elevator, but it is just a three storey building
