BS Boutique Hotel

Loved the location. It was very close to everything or a short walk. Everything seemed clean.

Room was very small. Parking difficult, outside and block away from hotel. Smelled cigarette smoke in lobby.

It was clean and the rooms were lovely.

Parking and check-in hours.

Fun hotel. Comfortable room. Fun design elements.

If you're arriving with your own vehicle, parking is limited and the entire area is restricted permit parking.

There was a gorgeous coffee shop around the corner we loved. Great access for philosophers trail head. Good location - about a 15 min walk from old town.

The location of the hotel was nice. You can walk to the historic area in 15 minutes via an easy route. There are markets nearby.

We were told that our room would have a king-size bed, but there was actually a queen-size bed. There wasn’t even enough space to open two cabin-sized suitcases. There was someone else’s hair on the bed covers. It hadn’t been cleaned properly. When we first entered the room, there was a strong sewage smell. We told the staff that we wanted to change our room, but they didn’t do it. Although the check-out time was 11:00, when we tried to get back into our room at 10:50 to get our luggage, we found that our key card wasn’t working. The staff said the system blocks the cards 15 minutes before check-out. There was someone at the reception who didn’t speak English, so no information was given to us at check-in. In short, this is not a hotel I would choose again.

Very conveniently located to everywhere. Nice and comfortable, however, it is not as soundproof as one may think.

There was a strange odor from the bathroom.

The hotel locates at the start of the philosopher's way and there are lots of small shops nearby. The Neckar River and the old town are within 15min walk-time reachable. Trams and buses to e.g. central train stations are also quite near around the hotel. The staffs are very nice and helpful.

The hygiene of the room, especially the toilet, can be better, as we spotted mold on the faucet and the basin. Also, the smell of the room is bad sometimes.

The staff

The face basin was dirty and had to ask for the towels to be changed

Beautiful, clean room and welcoming, helpful staff. The location of the hotel is superb, central downtown. We came rather late and did not find parking, but very kind and considerate staff helped us in finding parking pritty quickly.

Nice boutique hotel in great location. Clean, large rooms with unique designs and decoration.

Nice location, very helpfull staff. I arrived super late ( 1 am), the reception arranged for me a self-checkin and I managed to get to my room very fast - they managed my check-in and passport copy in the morning during my breakfast. Everything was super smooth and each topic I needed to cover with the reception was very quickly resolved. On the day of my departure, I needed to stay a bit longer - again very nicely handled by reception staff.

nothing to mention

Modern, great to be able to charge your phone even without an adapter/ charger directly through your cable in various convenient areas in the apartment. Super comfy bed. Very friendly staff

A few little details could have been better for me personally like a coffee machine and a couple of teabags not just two old creased bags and two cups worth of instant coffee. A smoking area was right under my only window so first I mistook my room for a smoking room but later reasoned it was just when people used the courtyard for smoking I would get the cigarette smell. The host did offer for me to change rooms , so overall it’s not a huge thing.

The staff were very helpful and friendly

The bed blankets were separated although the mattress was of the queen size

Stylish, thought out, great bathroom/shower

Small rooms, breakfast was so-so, parking is limited (city problem) but possible - arrange in advance! Can also be noisy due to trams passing nearby, depends on your room

Room comfort, cleanliness, convenient location, helpful and friendly staff

Nicely appointed, clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The shower did not drain properly and flooded the bathroom floor.

Good breakfast choices .Location was short walk to the city centre and close to the tram stop for transfer to the main station.

The design was pleasant and the facilities were clean. There was an air conditioner in the room.

The room was smaller than what we booked. The lobby and hallways were hot.

Centrally located, parking nearby.

Shower and sink did not drain properly (a minor point).

A marvelous small boutique hotel. Unusual decor. Great location. Good mattresses. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended! Have stayed here at least four times.

Adding a small refrigerator to the room.
