Hotel Rafain Centro

The free breakfast buffet far exceeded my expectations. There was a wide variety of excellent food and beverages.

Room was clean bed comfortable and shower was good.Breakfast was good and staff were lovely. The hotel is in a very nice area and the Bendito Restaurant down the street was excellent.We booked our tour to Iguazu falls through the hotel and it was excellent.

Location, pool and staff are all great. Also very complete breakfast with lots of of fresh fruit.

We booked a double room. Got a room with four beds but all relatively small. Room is rather basic.

Bad stay. I was given a room whose window was beside a AC machine, it was way too noisy.

Lovely pool, so relaxing.A huge choice at the breakfast bar and all self service which I liked.Lovely lady on the tourist desk, who was there at times.Very central location Our taxi driver Luis was just great!

Sad that we had a taxi back to airport (arranged by reception a couple days before leaving that didn't arrive, but luckily reception were able to contact another taxi driver, Luis, who was a life saver and all round fun and informative guy who spoke some English too which was super for us!

Centrally located with plenty of nearby restaurant options, the area has a charming small-town, homey vibe. The facilities are spotless and very well maintained, though a tad bit outdate

The staff came across as rather distant and could benefit from being a bit more welcoming. The AC would also benefit from an upgrade to an inverter system to avoid the loud on-and-off cycling during the night.

The pool area is beautiful! It’s a great, central location.

The rooms are a little noisy as they aren’t very soundproof. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel!

the reception staff wasn’t very helpful sometimes, for example we asked for the rate of airport drop off for their partner company (located opposite them) and they didn’t have any estimations!! We asked to settle a laundry bill ahead of checkout and they didn’t let us because they said they can only do that during check out!

The breakfast, swimming pool area and position were extremely good

The room was so bad that, when comparing it to the picture on the website, it didnt look like the same hotel. Probably I have been unlucky, but my room had a tiny window that was right in front of another room, and even worse in front ad their ac unit external motor. Room was extremely tiny as well and without a ventilated bathroom. First night AC was broken and there was ant problem in the bathroom (both have been solved the next day).

They’re mid renovations. Had to move rooms as ours was in the middle of a corridor that resembled a building site.

The rooms were nice. Beautiful area around pool. Open until late for snacks. Good selection at breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Location, breakfast and value for money

Overall stay was what we have expected. The pool area was great! It looks like it was recently renovated, the rest is the hotel is a bit tired and needs renovation and more attention.

Good staff but unfortunately the hotel desperately needs modernisation and repairs. Noisy AC makes them unusable at night, the AC in the common area is leaking, no convenient electrical sockets in the hotel room means you can’t easily charge your devices. Bathroom has a bidet but it has manual taps making it impossible to use. Breakfast is excellent quality though, so overall if you’re not too bothered by the inconvenient rooms it’s not a bad stay.

The hotel has a convenient location if you are comfortable in the city center. There are good staff at the reception. The breakfast is excellent. If the hotel administration puts things in order with the staff, then other guests will have better luck.

I had no luck with the service employee on the 5th floor. It seems that he hates the hotel guests. He touched my groceries in the fridge. The floor is strewn with someone else's black hair. The toilet paper tube is filled with such force that it is impossible to use it. I had to get a lot of toilet paper out of there. Obviously, all this was done on purpose.
