Pros +
- The location was great. You could walk to the entrance of the iguaçu national park within 20 minutes. There is a very cool bird park near by as well, it is on the way to iguaçu falls. The hotel was cool and the pool area was nice. The staff was friendly.
- Excellent
- Super nice pool, great location . Staff was very nice and the dinner/breakfast were decent.
Cons -
- The air conditioner in our room was a bit noisy and leaked water. We ordered a pizza from the restaurant and it took a long time to make and was extremely overcooked.
- Very poor sanitation. Shower was clogged and water was piling up. There was also some food leftovers in the shower. And ants were all over the bathroom. That made the experience not so great.
- Facilities were slightly run down, but everything works fine.

Triple room was decent and comfortable, great for a night's stay if not rushing to cross borders. There was a toilet spray bidet which is a plus point. There was quite a large offering for breakfast and it was delicious!
Facilities were slightly run down, but everything works fine.
Pool area is good for kids. Location.
Very old facility. The carpet in the corridors smell like wet dog and the bathroom in the room is the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel: clogged faucet and toilet doesn’t seem to be properly attached to the floor. Staff is nice but some of them are completely clueless: at one point, my wife got a drink with a moldy strawberry as decoration. This is the third time I visited that area, and the other hotels were much better.
The hotel is very close to Iguaçu Falls, making it convenient for reaching that attraction as well as the Birds Park. The price is not bad, and the service is decent.
The special parking for elderly (it's law in Brazil), was not well marked and other cars without the license parked there every day. I was also disappointed with the New Year's dinner. It was too expensive and very basic. Not even the soft drink was included in the price.
Really close to the falls and you can get a transfer at the hotel. Very comfortable. Loved the pool and bar
Location. Breakfast. Restaurant, good food.
The bathroom had a bad smell (pipelines were not working properly)
The location and good breakfast
The Hotel is close to the airport but ther is no shuttel service
So close to the Falls! Good food and breakfast was great woth extensive local baked goods.
Was noisy in the hallway outside my room until about 11pm. Noise from music playing loudly upside nearby museum til 930 pm or so.
The location and the staffs are great. Even they have good spread for the breakfast. But they dont offer a kettle/coffee/tea at the hotel. only very few staff can speak English which is a challenge.
Rooms.
Perfect location for quick falls visit. Just 1km from the falls entrance and the same to the airport. Tour company within hotel offers shuttles to both falls and airport for about $2 per person. Nice swimming pool and lovely breakfast.
Facilities are a bit dated, but clean. There is a water light show next door to the hotel that had music going until 10pm, I think only an issue as our room faced it, but if you ask for a room on the reception side the noise would be much lower. The show sounded good, so had I known about it, I would have paid to enter and watch.
Excellent location close to airport and the Falls. Lovely swimming pool and generally very good facilities.
The restaurant, whilst generally good, had a very restricted menu. Lots of mosquitos in the bedroom and loud talking outside the rooms during the night.
It was very convenient to the Brazilian Falls in Iguaçu (about 5 minutes) and also to the airport (about 5 minutes). Took the van (for a small fee) to both locations and could buy a ticket to enter the Falls. I also paid a small fee to go to the airport. They had a place to leave luggage while visiting the Falls. When we arrived at the hotel, it turns out none of my adapters worked for the Brazilian electric currents but the manager, Jonathan could help and loaned me an adapter. I did not have time to use, but, they had a very nice pool area. The check in was friendly and smooth. The check out too (I believe his name was Frank?) was super helpful overall too.
All was good, only suggestion (minor) would for the store in the hotel to sell adapters for foreign travelers to power their phones etc. I was lucky that Jonathon could help.
Not a lot to like to be honest.
Old and run down, dark with no lights on, not a nice place to stay. Staff were unhelpful (I asked for a taxi to be called and they refused), mostly did not speak English as advertised. Location was in the middle of nowhere. Rooms were noisy. I could go on.
Dirty shower, noisy AC, noise from the restaurant and other rooms. Very good service of the travel agent in the hotel.
It's in a great location with a free airport transfer. The breakfast has a lot of food to choose from. On Wednesday they has a buffet dinner and we liked it.
The reception staff doesn't speak English and there was no smile. It felt not so pleasant. Room was dark with no view from the window at all.
It is close the airport and falls. A member at reception spoke English.. the breakfast buffet was the same everyday, and a large part was cake and pastries..It would be nice to have tea and coffee making equipment in your room.
Bed bugs, ants and indifferent staff
Do NOT stay here. My room was covered in bed bugs and ants. The staff didn’t seem to care. I’m really not sure why this hotel has so many positive reviews. I’ve had a wonderful time in Brazil, but it’s now ruined thanks to the bed bugs at this horrible hotel.
It is a beautiful property with an old world colonial charm. The price for the ambience and location is absolutely great. Breakfast is a wonderful spread. Don't miss the coffee with cream! It was pure luxury. Plus a range of juices. Staff are welcoming and warm in reception. There is a desk which helps in arranging transport to Iguazu and also queue skip tickets. We also did a day trip to Paraguay for a reasonable price and it was efficiently managed. For Iguazu falls this is a perfect choice.
The location is such that there are not many other places to have lunch or dinner. However the hotel itself has a fair choice. An electric kettle with tea and coffee in the room would make it just perfect for amenities.
