The property was fantastic, the manager and staff were very gracious, responding quickly to every request, making us feel immediately at home. Our son got a gastrointestinal bug and the manager and staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was great too

The only hiccup was a short power outage (not the properties fault probably) and the WiFi that could be stronger in some of the rooms.

The Netuk House is comfortably located in the centre of Gangtok: it’s quiet and only a 5-minutes walk to the MG marg. The architecture is (partly)traditional Sikkimese. Beautiful! The rooms with authentic interior design elements are comfortable. From the balcony you have a beautiful view on the Kanchenjunga mountain on clear days. The owner and staff are kind and helpful.

The buffet style breakfast is basic. The mattress in our room was a bit soft in the middle, so we ended up ’rolling down’ towards each other during the night.

1. Staff was courteous . we arrived quite late by 1am and they were available for smooth checkin 2. The room was quite big , mountain view as booked 3. Bathrooms were clean and hot water was available at all times 4. Enough sofa space and seating for group of people5. we had asked for extra bed which was prepared before our arrival itself6. Location is quite good and about 8-10 mins to MG road which has all eateries7. Property is beautiful - lots of flowers , cleans and heritage portions of the hotel , good view 8. Taxis were allowed till inside so luggage management was easy 9. Did not try the food as MG road was so near - did swiggy and it was accessible

- different tea varities would be nice - had only assam team - no infusion or green tea variants

Everything was excellent, from the support for activities and the comfort of the room to the staff, at every level, that went out of their way to be helpful. I don't often award a 10, but this is worth it.

Laundry took a while to return, but it did in the end, nice and clean.

Loved the view, the location and the heritage rooms.

Breakfast option was not great and I hope that improves.

It's nice, heritage, cozy place with 13 rooms all together. We were group of 5 and felt like place for all for us. :)Lot of open space to sit and relax.Bigger rooms are inside (based on my experience), one with view are on also available.

Since its heritage house with not many rooms, the choice of breakfast items are limited. But they were very tasty.

Near to the mall. The property manager was very prompt and helpful and but rest of the staff were not that great.

The entrance to the property was weird.Several of the things need an upgrade including the shower fixtures which came off while I was bathing, etc etc. This was promoted as a Sikkimese homestay, instead none of the local food I wanted to try were available. It heavily displayed North Indian food and within the small amount of Sikkimese food that was on the menu, most weren’t available.I wouldn’t call this a homestay at all

Dinner was not worth the money . We ordered hot and sour soup , daal rice and chicken chilly Need to improve the taste

The room was smelly, dark depressive and at the back of the house with view of wall from the window. The net connectivity was zero and the TV subscribtion was also exhausted. The manager was totally noncooperative and much rude though the staff was. only boon in disguise was the food. I will never suggest anybody to stay there.

We did not expect that room with the tariff the hotel has demanded. In 10 days of our Sikkim tour this was only the worst experience.

Nice location, comfortable rooms and polite staff

1. Staff need to be trained to respond faster - for e.g. the room was not made till afternoon despite repeated requests.2. Basics like lemons and soda were not available - had to be bought from outside.3. Shower curtain is not aligned correctly - the soap & shampoo are outside the shower area.4. Plumbing is not good - the tap came off in my hand and the tap cover cut my hand. They need to change to mixers.

Walking corridor level higher that bed room level in that room , so we get fall down and luckily save within little injury

many times Kitchen staff are not picking up the intercom calls. Strict Dinner order timing. after 8 pm they will not receive your dinner order. after 9 pm kitchen will be closed and they will not serve dinner in your room

Beautiful rooms, really appreciated that the heater was started before we got there. Convenient spot- walking distance to everything.

Kitchen opened a bit late and also it would be good to have the restaurant times and menu displayed outside, so that you can see it even if the restaurant is closed.

The property is very well located near the MG Road, yet it doesn't have the crowd associated with it. The property is amazing and the staff were very helpful and always ready to assist you in any way possible.

The property is currently understaffed.. Because of this, the breakfast service was slow.

A gem in Gangtok, this hotel is the perfect choice when visiting the region. It offers breathtaking views of the valley. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are clean. The hotel's location is just a 5-minute walk from MG Market, the city center, and the pedestrian street where you can find all the shops and restaurants you need. Additionally, they provide reasonably priced laundry services. It's worth noting that while booking.com states that booking and cancellation are free, a 10% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

Only the location was good, but the food, and services were all pathetic, I just wasted my money. The staff were very irresponsible there was no water in the washroom the whole day. I am really disappointed and would suggest everyone never book any rooms here.

We had taken 2 rooms for our sons and us. I give below the drawbacks:1. Room -1: The flush did not work. We kept complaining, but to no avail. Gave us a great experience of medieval times where we needed to pour a bucket of water every time one pooped!2. Room -2: Had just 3 lighting points out of which only 1 worked. Hence the room was always dark & dingy. Again gave us an experience of medieval times when one had to make do with a lantern!The rooms became hot during the days, but no fans were provided. I asked for fans, but was told they don’t have any. I seriously wanted to change to another hotel, but they refused to cancel our bookings. At almost Rs. 6,500.00 per room per night, one shouldn’t bother with this hotel. I wonder if Booking.com did any homework with this hotel. Is there any way Booking.com will compensate me?Advice to anyone planning on this hotel: DON’T!!

Very Close to the main market ..M G marg. Very courteous and helpful staff. Good breakfast and food.

Himalayan breakfast is served only on Tuesday.. we really loved it . Would want to have it more often in their menu.Wifi is not connected to inverter backup. I was working from the place for a few days, and every time during the power outage, I had to rush outdoors for mobile networks.
