Summit Norling Resort & Spa

The way they welcome my family (Traditional as a symbol of luxury hospitality). All staff members are very polite and professional, well groomed with well fitted uniform.

Location is very good, quiet and peaceful, food is very good and the kitchen staff was very nice

The car rental service was good as they had a tie up with a local guy who was providing the cab services.

There are no snacks (paid) kept in the room nor there is a bar in the room. The room was not kept clean as I could identify the hair of a woman lying on the floor. The hot water for taking bath got over within a minute that means only 1 bucket of hot water can be used at a time after the geyser switch turns off, we need to wait for another 20 mins to get hot water, this is pathetic. Finally, we ordered for 2 buckets of hot water from the staff. There was no shower cap kept in the room and we need to inform the desk to get it. Moreover, there was no one in the reception at 6.45 am when we tried to complain about the hot water issue.

The bedrooms were spacious and very clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. The food was delicious and service was excellent. Special thanks to Aita Maya, Smiti and Babika for their great service at the restaurant.

Bathroom was not fully functional. The shower did not work properly. The internet was also very slow. The hotel has no elevators so people with mobility issues shall find it difficult to move.

The rooms were spacious and the food was amazing. We ordered atleast 10 different things plus the breakfast was great. Even the restaurant staff was superb. The drinks were cheap and without any tax. This was cherry on the top

The hotel is called Resort and Spa. However, the spa was closed for quite some time. When the hotel is far off from the city center, one expects it to have a lot of facilities to keep the guests busy. However, it was lacking in a lot of aspects. The washrooms were poorly maintained. We booked the chalet with balcony. Bathroom shower mixer not working properly. Basic toiletries such as body lotion not available. We asked for something to eat at 6 30 am maybe cookies or some fruits, manager outrightly rejected saying nothing available even though breakfast spread had both. The pond was dirty. All in all, not recommended especially for the price paid. 10k per night.

The location of the property is way away from the city center......

I liked the location, but commuting there was a bit challenging due to the uneven roads.

Although the room was spacious, we didn't like its location near the reception and had expected a better room.

Buffet breakfast was just amazing with several options. The place was quite and rooms were clean. Very comfortable stay!

The a la carte menu could have been better.

Its Beautiful, clean and quiet, staffs were very kind and helpful. Front desk staffs Ms Namrata and Sweta been very kind and helpful.

There's nothing we did disliked anout the property as we were looking for quiet and clean place out of city so we got it. We are happy

Wi-Fi problem, Tandoor wasn’t operational due to low occupancy.

The Hotel was good, rooms were slightly above average. The best part was the staff and service at the restaurant was really awesome.

Rooms not maintained well, especially the bathrooms.

Food was good. The massage was awesome and therapist was really good and professional.

Chalet Room was not good as per the price charged. Very old furniture

Hospitality is nice ? Staff behaviour specially GM summit norling and restaurant staff are appreciable. The food is tasty and delicious. Thanks for everything. Looking forward to stay again.

House keeping and Room services are laid back. at times no body is there to pick the phone.

The rooms were large and very clean. Food was also good.

I had paid almost double for a room which I booked a month in advance whereas the rooms cost much less if I would have done spot booking.

Balcony view not too good as compaired to the price. Restaurants manager Manoj Tamang was the only worst part of summit Norlings service.

The photo in booking.com is different from Real time. old wooden doors. I was given a room in ground floor. the room was smaller than shown in photo.

We had to shift our stay to next day due to snowfall, so they moved us to Summit Oriental on MG Road.Worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Located on Mall Road so we had to shift taxis.Lady receptionist was very rude.Breakfast was non buffet, and had a terribly slow service, they were severely understaffed, and we didnt eat anything.We paid 7k for this hotel, for this quality I wouldnt have paid more than 2k

well room was not heated properly. chalets are expensive to have room heating atleast. there was a bad smell in the room. floors were creaking.
