• Resturant staff is good
• The restaurant was excellent, but one does not need to stay here to enjoy their restaurant. Fittings are of a reasonably high standard by Indian norms. Staff are polite but not empowered or organized.

• Reception staff is not professional.I was late in checking out and they forced me to pay 50% extra for 2 hours delay in check out.The guy is a cunning fellow.
• Location is average with no restaurants, auto stand or convenience store close by. House-keeping was pathetic - room was not properly cleaned, hand and floor towels are in short supply, bath towels were not changed and merely folded in their damp condition. A dirty floor mat was not removed. On two out of three days, we did not get hot water in the cold Gwalior winter and you need to call the Front desk for them to turn on the central boiler every time you want to take a shower. Overall, the hotel charges are very high but cannot deliver commensurate value. We felt cheated and consider this hotel very poor value for money. The front-office staff made the usual sympathetic noises to our repeated complaints but were unable to either solve the issue or offer compensation. There is no direct way to contact House keeping except through the Front Desk and there appears to be a communication gap between the Front Desk and the House-keeping staff which results in miscommunication and no service.We had booked an Executive Suite which they claimed was as free upgrade which is nonsense as indicated in our booking confirmation.Overall, not a pleasant stay - would not return to this hotel and for the price they charge, would strongly recommend that potential visitors to Gwalior look at other options which offer far better value.
