The location was beautiful with beautiful views.

The bed was uncomfortable. There was a crater in the middle.

The LOCATION is the highlight of this place and the reason we would recommend anyone to stay there! The views from the gardens of Lake Maggiore were stunning and made our trip, watching the sunset was gorgeous. The staff were lovely and kind and even gave us a glass of wine and some bread cheese and meats to have in the garden whilst we enjoyed the views. Having the restaurant on site was also lovely. The menu adopts a slow food approach of using local suppliers which was appreciated, and the food was delicious authentic Italian (not just the touristy pizza and pasta) and reasonably price for such a nice restaurant. The town of Laveno was lovely, with a ferry port for easy access to other towns, so would recommend as a great place to stay in Lake Maggiore. Also highly recommend Lake Maggiore (especially a trip to the Borromean Islands) if you are visiting the Italian lakes.

The rooms were simply but clean, but we were more than happy with it.

The location is great with an amazing view over the Lake. The staff is very friendly. The hotel belongs to a very nice restaurant which is fully booked almost every night. So make a reservation. We will return here for sure!

It was rather hot at the time even during the night. There is a fan but an airco would be much better!

Lovely hotel overlooking the lake. The hotel is outside Lavano, but as long as you've got a car that's no problem at all. The view more than makes up for it.

The view ..nothing else

From the moment we entered the drive towards the property we were disappointed..the reception was poor ..the room very very overpriced and in poor condition I have photos of rusty shower door and door seal hanging off .a .cracked cup and a rusty soap dish ..the evening meal was terrible ..no wonder Michelin have given no awards since 2021 but they still promote awards from 3 years ago ?

Nice building, stunning location, exceptional dining.

Breakfast was a bit sparse, e.g. no milk alternatives, lack of bowls & sooons, no cheese or meat unless requested. The bed cover was tucked in way too tight and difficult to liberate. Moveable showerhead was missing. General feeling of being understaffed.

Stunning views. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had issues with our hire car and received loads of assistance. Especially from Christina who even drove us to the car and arranged taxis.Great breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs to order.

There is no general lounge area indoors.Minor, but the shower area was too small for the rain effect shower head.

There was no air conditioning and no normal fan in the room so it was very hot also at night, and when we opened the window a lot of mosquitos came in.There was no wifi in the bedroom

Bathrooms require upgrade. Entrance to the building to be improved and better organized.

The property has an absolute magical situation. The view is amazing and the garden is really beautiful.

The location provides a great viewpoint over Lago Maggiore. The larger accommodation offered was spacious and quiet, with a separate sitting area and a patio. The breakfast was good as they offered scrambled eggs to go along their continental breakfast buffet and fresh fruit juices.The on-site restaurant was excellent and the 10% discount for hotel guests was appreciated. This was a great location for a multi-day stay. We loved it. Locanda Pozzetto had great staff and a very special place - memorable!

Parking was tight (large cars would have a tough time). My wife wished the room was better decorated... If they added a small fridge to the apartment (it has the hotel mini-bar fridge) the room would have been perfect.

We had such a lovely stay here, the staff were lovely, the location is beautiful and the food is amazing. They were so great with our son who is two years old. We would definitely go back!

it was a bit loud because the restaurant is in the bottom floor and you can hear the chairs moving and doors closing.
