Hotel Aquadolce

Excellent and friendly staff. The location is convenient for walking the lido and for taking the ferry. Walking distance (20min) within an excellent organic health grocery store called NaturaSi. Beautiful walk north to the botanic gardens. I loved that there are not too many rooms in the hotel, so it felt intimate and cozy.

The downside to staying along the water (and the thin walls and window panes) is that you can hear very well all the activity including the curbside restaurants and music late into the night below the window. The chemical scent used for detergent when cleaning and washing the sheets and towels is very strong. The bed was definitely uncomfortable and needed replacing. The breakfast and bicycle hire were a bit pricey for what they offered.

Breakfast was excellent value for money with a good choice of food. The hotel is very well located along the lakeside in the close to the centre of town and the ferry terminal.

Wonderful stay. Nice view. 4mins walk to the ferry pier for isola madre and isola bella. Very close to Villa Taranto. Lovely staff. They were helpful especially with accomodating our young daughter.

Easy late check-in. Due to circumstances we weren't able to check-in on time. The hotel staff called us and provided us the ability to check-in ourselves with the use of a locker. We arrived very late, but had a lovely, big room. Unfortunately no balcony, but magnificent view on the lake. Staff was also very helpful for gluten-free breakfast. We were here only for a lay-over, but would've wanted to stay longer next time to explore the beautiful area more.

Charming! Very nice classical style hotel, the team is taking care of the historical furniture and building. The room is spacious and beautiful. There is a small bookshelf with literature in different languages if you take a stairs. Breakfast was correct, the view on the lake is fantastic. Everything went very smoothly!

Location in Pallanza is excellent and access to Intra by ferry or foot is good

No breakfast option in hotel but adequate provision in local bar, about 10 mins walk away. Quite a lot of noise from street and other residents in the night.

Attentive helpful staff. Beautiful room

No breakfast facilities offered .. not even a coffee which was very disappointing but it didn’t spoil our stay

Lovely view, even from the second floor. Noises from the street are there always but that was no problem with us. And our baby slept well there too. Very helpfull staff. Pizzerias and restaurants very close and grocery store 5 min walk. No private parking but we managed to find free parking from the streets.
