LVG Hotel Collection - Il Chiostro

Good hearty breakfast, variety of food. Could probably offer a bit more vegetables. Liked the fact that the same menu was offered in two different rooms- when busy in one place you could check the other station(room) for the same products.

Already sliced bread that was left in basket, under a napkin it was already dry (in one of the rooms).

The room and bathroom were both clean, spacious, and well furnished. The breakfast was very good (with plenty of gluten free options upon request) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bike storage room was safe and easily accessible.

Breakfast: Good decent spread. Usually refills very frequently. Room: Small in size. But, keeping in mind the history, a decent renovated rooms.Location: Very near to everything. Love the location. Walkable to the main places of Intra.

Breakfast: Same stuff everyday. Even the juice. Which was a bit boring..for a country like Italy, we expected a bit more.

Breakfast was great when the eggs and bacon were available.

The price went significantly up and I blame a part of this on the hotel and a part on Booking.com. I paid 95 euro more for our 4 day stay than what had been said by booking.com.

Breakfast was good.

Both the bed and the bathtub had hair on them—not just one or two strands, but much more than that. We were too tired to request a room change, but either way, it’s unacceptable to offer customers a room full of someone else’s hair. It was very cold; the heating didn’t work the first night. For the second night, we requested that they fix it, but it still barely worked and kept turning off randomly. Eventually, a staff member improved it, but I still had to sleep with my sweater on.

Quiet stay at good location. Friendly service.

Small room

I had a wonderful time here, cozy room, great breakfast, very kind and attentive staff. Excellent location to walk to the centre and ferry terminal. Mille grazie!!

Perfect breakfast. Friedly staff. Good bed, good bath, normal room size.

Was a little bit cold in room, was wery noisy outside doors in coridor, no tea no coffe in room, smell is interesting. Hotel is a little bit old. No space for car. It is written that there is but no there is not and especialy free.

The room was very clean and spacious. Also the bathroom was bigger than usual with a bathing tub. Nicely curated garden. Breakfast was ampie, and there were sweet as well as savoury dishes.

The whole location seems a bit outdated, with a feeling of 70ies or 80ies maybe. Everything is still intact, but simply out of time. The coffee at breakfast is made by a self-service machine and of mediocre quality, which for Italy is a no-go, in my humble opinion.

It’s a very pleasant hotel and I loved the view from my room that was full of sun in the morning.

The curtains did not close so there was light very early in the morning. I told the staff on my arrival and they said they would look into it but nothing changed.

Dinners were amazing

bathroom was in need of renovation. shower was moldy and grout needed replaced.

Good location, close to bus stop and supermarket, walking distance to intra center, friendly staff, quiet rooms

Staff were friendly and accommodating. They really helped us with short notice aswell. Would recommend staying here. Will definitely be rebooking. Location was great aswell.

Great location. We arrived early and they made sure we were able to check in a bit earlyer

We searched for a hotel where we could park the car but when arrived we were told we could not park the car. They explaned where to find a parking place but it was full so we had to search further on. We had to walk quite a bit.

The hotel is very clean and well positioned.

Unfortunately we met very rude reception staff. We had to wait both at check-in and check-out a lot. The receptionists seemed to be a bit indiferent and we waited a lot while they were solving other problems at the computer. At the check-out it was a huge line at the desk and they were indifferent, doing their job slowly. The next day upon our arrival we encountered problems with our air conditioning and we had to go and ask 4 times for help, every single time they explained the same method of making it function although we tried multiple times to start it and obviously it was a problem. They fixed it in the afternoon.
