Location is very handy for both city center and old town. Made to feel very welcome by helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way for us. Very nice breakfast with lovely quality options

The staff, in particular, were outstanding in every way from marking a map and and providing guidance on what to see based on our interests including dinner reservations to parking our car for us and drying clothes after we got caught in a rain storm. Absolutely the best we have ever encountered from arrival to departure!! Perfect location for touring and shopping, outstanding breakfast and world class accommodation and value for money.

The AC wasn't working properly in the room. Fortunately, it was a cool night due to the arrival of rain after a long hot month.

We had an excellent stay at Petronilla. The hotel is small but everything is done with great eye for detail. The room was spacious and well decorated with a large comfortable bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with lots of homemade things and fresh fruit. And the staff was perfect, very helpful and kind. We can only recommend!

Beautifully designed spacious rooms with great bathroom amenities. Breakfast buffet is diverse and plentiful. Service is impeccable - I thought everyone at the hotel was thoughtful and prompt.

The scent for fragrance diffuser can easily be confused with cigarette smoke.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is just perfect (but only until 10AM, hopefully we were still jet lagged), the location is very central.

There was just a small window in the room, while other rooms have windows in the bathrooms and larger windows in the room itself, the door in the shower didn't close. I asked about the transfer from Bergamo airport and they asked price was 50 eur, while I only paid 16 euro for the official taxi.

Everything!! The location is excellent, the property is beautiful, charming, and comfortable! The breakfast is WONDERFUL, but by far the best “thing” about the hotel is the staff! Francesco and Rebecca, in particular, were amazingly helpful, kind and lovely!

This is a small hotel, only 12 rooms on 4 floors. The rooms are modern, very clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable, with soft pillows. A/c and wifi worked very well. Very quiet at night. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast was a delight, and so was the service. A lot of attention to detail!

Little bit noisy sometimes from the street, but in general this is something you are expecting in centre of the city in Italy

The room was large and comfortable. The bed was large with a great mattress , quilt and pillows. The bathroom was spacious. The breakfast buffet was exceptional due to the amount of choice. You could also have eggs.The staff were extremely friendly Òa nd helpful.

The street noise form the bars across the street, but the shutters helped.

A wonderful five nights spent at Petronilla. So friendly and helpful, felt like a stay with new friends. Staff readily offered help and suggestions for exploring the city. Booking a restaurant before we arrived and providing advice on our journey from Milan airport. Plenty of breakfast choices, we couldn't manage trying everything. Very comfortable room, a large bed with excellent cotton sheets and perfect pillows.....bliss. The shower with 3 different shower head options was good to have. The long shoe was a surprise find in the wardrobe and used often! The hotel is very conveniently situated for walking to local shops and restaurants or using buses to reach the upper city if the walk up couldn't be managed. Approximately 25 minute walking distance of station . We loved our stay and will be telling our friends about you. Thank you.

Wonderful little hotel. Classic Italian Modernist decor. Incredibly chic bathroom, hot tub thrown in. The concierge was lovely and extremely helpful.
