Palazzo Santo Spirito

hotel was good and nice . Only the restaurant lady Manager was rude and arrogant. Therefore we decided to eat our dinner outside and not at the hotel

The location is wonderful, right on a quiet walking street, downtown. The place is charming, special... it is a palazzo:) the breakfast is good and fresh, with various options.

Location was fantastic to explore city . Staff very friendly. Eat in restaurants one night which was vey good with an excellent wine list .Good bar facilities

It's probably the best location in town, and the spa is brilliant. Oh and breakfast is well worth it.

Mattress was slightly hard for my liking but that's if I was really trying to find something wrong with this hotel. I was very impressed! Definitely get your moneys worth.

Location, walking distance from train station and walking distance to the historical centre. Comfortable bed and good breakfast

Strange elektricity circuit breakers on the Wall in the room covered with see throught plastic... flashing red light all the night in the room. We had to cover it strangely by a towel to limit the flashing. Otherwise it would not be possible to sleep. Room quite small.

Too expensive for what it offers

The personnel was almost uninterested at our requests (no second key to the rooms!). The room wasn’t the one we booked and we had to ask a change. The breakfast was poor and they certainly had lack of plates and cups! In general it was a hotel with bad organization.

Very nice property. All in all a great experience. Recommend the restaurant too.

Front desk staff was initially unfriendly after we arrived with two babies. Did give us a free upgrade afterwards, which was very nice. But why be unfriendly then in the beginning?

Upon our arrival for a reservation intended for two guests, we were provided with only one key. The explanation given was that the establishment was at full occupancy and they had run out of keys. Regrettably, this posed an inconvenience as the key not only grants access to the room but also controls the room's electricity and entry to facilities like the gym and spa. Furthermore, the insertion of the key serves as an indicator of room occupancy. Unfortunately, a "do not disturb" sign was not made available. With just one key in hand, there exists the possibility that one guest may inadvertently disturb the other by leaving with the key, potentially leading to an unexpected encounter with the cleaning team.Another issue arose about the spa facilities, as it was necessary to make reservations well in advance. This information was solely accessible on the website, with no accompanying booklet within the room or any information available at the reception during check-in. Even when booking through platforms such as booking.com, this detail was conspicuously absent. Furthermore, there was no external signage at the spa to alert guests to this reservation requirement. Despite these omissions, we were informed by the front desk that this information was prominently displayed "everywhere".Regarding breakfast, the issue lies not in the quality of the food but in its arrangement. Guests are expected to prepare their own coffee using an automatic coffee machine, which tends to operate at a rather sluggish pace. Consequently, there is a bottleneck effect in a confined space where all the hot food is situated. This results in those waiting for coffee inadvertently impeding the access of others seeking hot food.Another shortcoming was the absence of replenished body wash after the first night.Furthermore, the claim of soundproof rooms, as mentioned on the website, was not accurate.

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, couldn't have enjoyed our stay more , will definitely stay again.Great Central location handy for the station and Old Town.

It’s brand new modern in an antic palazzo, rooms good new standard

The breakfast was not good enough for a 4 hotel and room price, no fresh juice, no fresh bread

Tiny room. Bathroom was cold because radiator was not working.The smell was horrible. No toiletries at all.No water in room for kettle and drinking. Paper cups for tea, which is unacceptable for 4star hotel. Parking instructions were missing. The car could hardly drive through the gate.Staff was not helpful, totally indifferent.

Location - 5 min walk to the downtown, friendly staff, breakfast, the bed with comfortable mattress.

Location was fantastic and lovely being set next to the church in the old monastery. Close to both old town and new town and train station . Spa was amazing and wellRecommended

No drawers in the room so things like underwear and swimwear were kept on the floor

We had a fabulous room with jacuzzi and sauna. Lovely Staff and great food.

- Parking entrance was very narrow, inconvenience system, and parking has a separate fee.- The entrance glass door to the elevator and back didn't open (we tried 3 cards). - Our car was vandalized in Italy.

Nice historic building

The only bathroom is accessible through the bedroom, so if anyone is staying in the living room, he cannot have direct access to the bathroom. Reception staff is always too busy, and can’t get organized to answer your needs.

Not a first stay and not the last one.The rooms here are very comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast as always at a high level.

Very nice location. You pay 20 for the sauna, steam room and plunge pool. Old town is nice. Easy access to rail for day trips to Leggo, on lake Como and lots of other places. Very clean, good breakfast

I upgraded to the hot tub, but that is just the massive bath in the room. Would not recommend that as the cost was alot more than other rooms and I didn't see the value in it.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Modern interior, with traditional exterior. Parking was private.
