    Pros +

    • Art work was lovely, the homemade torta at breakfast was gorgeous. the restaurant next door was amazing
    • Friendliness of the staff & overall customer service
    • Good facilities, room is not big but very clean. Good location to the top of the mountain. Very good restaurant next to the hotel. Breakfast is simple but quality is good especially the home made butter .The best is the service level of all the employees, very kind and helpful. Bergamo is a very nice city and worth the stay of more than one night. Will come again.

    Cons -

    • Rooms overpriced Suite 204 darkRm 202 best views n lightElevator unreliable
    • The design othing major but of the room was just not practical, with before lamps you had to leave your bed for to turn on or off, shower that flooded the bathroom etc nothing major but for that price I expected more comfort
    • Would have liked a room with a view, especially when staying for 7 nights

The location was perfect at the beginning of the upper city. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast is very good. The GPS directions to the property are not very good. We were lost for quite a while by car.

Very nice and cosy hotel. Really close to the Old Town. It was a business trip with a huge plane delay but everything was good.

    10AmandaPosted on: 2-5-2025

Le Funi was in a great position within the old town easy walking distance of the Main Street where many restaurant shops etc are situated. Hotel staff were very helpful. Also close to bus stop where a bus runs every 15mins to the station and airport! The funicular to the castle was close by too. Would not hesitate to stay again xx

Would have liked a room with a view, especially when staying for 7 nights

Modern and attractive design throughout. Easy check in. Good parking.

We had poor weather so it was hard to visit Bergamo properly.

Location, atmosphere. Staff prepared for us breakfast for takeaway, although we did not asked for it and this was very kind. This was our second stay since 2022.

Very friendly and professional staff, we were made to feel welcome right from the start and through our stay. The rooms where nice, of good quality and clean and the location convenient, just 5-10mins away from the beginning/end of the main throughfare of Bergamo alto. The breakfast buffet was very nice too.

The breakfast place at Le Funi Hotel is a little cramped and was a bit overwhelmed during the period we visited.Le Funi Hotel did recommend the restaurant La Ripa which is in the connected building, however despite recommendation and the good reviews on google we were rather disappointed by both the service and the food at La Ripa.

Staff was very helpful, they arranged our breakfast at 6 in the morning ,because we were in a hurry for the airplane. Great location, very pretty and super decorated rooms. Amazing view, it really exceeded our expectations. Everything was absolutely great and lovely! The restaurant nearby has to be seen, food was very, very tasty!!

    Nothing at all

Fantastic location, stunning views and close to citta Alta main streets. Staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms were spotless and comfortable.

Nothing! There is a steep hill to the hotel but they can't change that and it provides amazing views but worth noting if it might be an issue for you.

    9KatePosted on: 11-21-2024

The location is fantastic, the breakfast was superb

The room was a bit basic and the hotel has very few additional facilities but it was brilliant as a place to explore

    10OlegPosted on: 11-13-2024

Absolutely lovely hotel, right in the centre, own parking, awesome breakfast, courteous staff.

It is right next to the cable car line, funicular, the hint is in the name, and passing car is audible from the rooms. I find it charming, but some may not like the noise.

    10MaciejPosted on: 11-10-2024

Super nice and helpful staff, tasty breakfasts (largely based on (delicious) local produce), overall atmosphere
