Nice hotel, but not a 4 star under any reasonable standard.

Rooms are very clean , front desk staff and house keeping staff are very helpful and friendly. Jamal and Ahmad from housekeeping made sure the room was always neat and clean. Mr. Ahmad Hadad from front desk was very helpful in answering questions and addressing my concerns.

The air conditioning in my room was not functioning properly, maintenance was called up to the room twice, but after both times the A/C would malfunction again, I should have changed rooms instead.

The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would like to especially thank the room service team, particularly Jamal and Marwan, for their great effort and kind attitude.

Since the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Ahmad Haddad, who kindly took care of our bags and car and walked us to the front desk. At reception, I was greeted with an exceptional welcome by Marah, Salma, and Mohammad Sameeh, whose professionalism and kindness made the check-in experience seamless.A special mention also goes to Murad, who is always available with the best recommendations for food and beverages, making every stay even more enjoyable.What truly makes me love this hotel is the way the staff treats every guest with genuine care, respect, and warmth that make you feel right at home.I truly enjoy my stays at Oryx Hotel, and I will make sure to choose Oryx again for every visit.

Kind, friendly and Supportive staff.The room was always clean and organized. I would like to specially thank (Mr Marwan) who kept our room always clean, organized, and nice looking, and who provided us with everything we needed as we requested before we arrived at the hotel.

Desert in the breakfast wasn’t fresh

The theme is well-maintained and provides a pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and professional, delivering a high level of service throughout the stay.

The buffet presentation requires improvement regarding food identification and ingredient transparency; clear labeling is necessary for guest convenience. Furthermore, while the food quality was acceptable, the variety was quite limited and could benefit from a more diverse selection.

The pool is outdated, responses are rare and the hotel beach is paid!! If you compare this hotel with Movenpick, despite Movenpick Aqaba costs more, but if you calculate it with beach entrance fees, activity fees, etc it is almost the same, so Movenpick is much higher in value. This is 5 stars hotel but facilities are not real 5 stars

Team is exceptional specially Mr. Marwan, they are very kind, the breakfast was perfect, swimming pool is outdoor and the Gym small but good, rooms are comfort

The water needs to be heated for Jacuzzi and the pool

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service and respect I received were beyond words. A special thanks to Ammar at the reception, who welcomed me with professionalism and warmth, making everything smooth and easy. The restaurant staff were equally outstanding, offering both excellent food and genuine hospitality. I also deeply appreciated the courtesy and support of the security team, who made me feel safe at all times. Overall, the entire team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. This is a hotel that truly understands the meaning of high-quality service. Highly recommended!

The experience was below average; the cleanliness was lacking. The breakfast was good, but the swimming pool was very small and did not match the pictures.

I had a wonderful stay at Oryx Hotel Aqaba. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the team was truly amazing — they even prepared the room beautifully for my anniversary, which made the stay extra special. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and a great bonus was the free shuttle buses that take you to the most important places in Aqaba and bring you back. Highly recommended!

Only one thing the shower (Heads) they are small, or the one in our room was small, and it didn’t push hard water because it’s small.

cigarette smell in room despite that non smoking room was chosen old furniture

Great customer service. Good location outside Ayla, very comfortable beds and strong AC. Balcony was a plus.

The main pool was overrun by kids, even though there's a kiddy pool right next to it. The hotel caters mainly to families, not ideal for couples without kids.
