B&B HOTEL Besançon Chateaufarine

Clean, comfy bed, location good for our specific requirements (walkable to a friends house) so good value for us.

No kettle. No hairdryer. 2 flimsy small paper cups.Reception not always manned eg.. Had to use sent code to check in at 3pm so no friendly welcome. Means cannot leave luggage if early arrival or leaving after checkout.

Breakfast was very good and there were several options to choose from. The hotel has plenty of parking and is a very suitable option for solo travellers who need a practical on the road stay.

There was a strong smell of cigarettes in both our rooms and at some point in the evening another unpleasant smell came from the shower room. We asked for a change of rooms but unfortunately, they were fully booked and couldn't go through with the request. We were given breakfast as a compensation.

It's close to the highway, also nearby one can find Burger King and KFC, and was relatively cheap + rooms were wide

It wasn't really clean and it had a strange smell in the rooms

Staff was friendly

Dirty, poor condition, terrible location

The room and linen was spotless. Comfortable bed..Very quiet.

Difficultly with access and fiddling around with codes. I accept that our age has something to do with finding technology annoying..We just prefer human contact..

It’s clean and has parking.

The Air Conditioning was not working well and it didn’t stop making noise and not allowing us to sleep until it suddenly went off.

Good location.

Dusty room, smelly hallways, staff was not so pleasant.

Easy parking and checkin, a few restaurants within 10 min walk. Good Air condition, spatious room

Located near a large Commercial malls does not offer many walking/running opportunities.

Nice and clean - staff really helpful. Good for quick stop over if travelling somewhere else.

Nothing all good

The facility is easy to access, has ample parking space and a charging station for electric cars. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and quiet.

there is nothing I didn't like

Location after long drive.

There was a very bad smell in our room like cold cigarette. Can’t give a better review, that’s not acceptable, cheap or not that’s not a smell the cleaning staff/ manager should allow. Overall, the hotel doesn’t smell particularly fresh. Won’t come back.

Good location , fair price

Very dirty

Very spacious. Comfy bed

Could not find the hair dryer

Spacious room with comfortable bed.Quiet despite being near a main road.Ease of check in when no reception available

The breakfast was terrible. Powdered eggs, cold fatty bacon and poor coffee

Easy check-in, spacious, nice staff, free secure parking, good acoustic insulation. Easy access to highway and other main motorways

Hotel is aging apart, not very clean in corners, under bed, behind doors, in bathroom grouts..etc. bedding is uncomfortable. One can argue a double room costs 60 euros per night but a triple room costs 100+ and with that one would hope for a better deal.No extra equiments like boiler or hair dryer. Just shampoo and soap.

Everything was good clean with air condition big room

a little hard check in without reception we didn’t know how we can entry into the parking the door was closed we didn’t receive a code for entry because the machine for register check in was in the building, we were 2 persons the put just one towel

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was clean and we all slept well.It was just what we needed on a long drive.

The self check in process was a bit painful especially having been in a car for 14hrs and trying to make sense of it. It wasn't terribly clear what to do but we got there in the end with some help from some other guests also trying to work it out

It was close to the highway. We only stayed 1 night to continue our trip to France.

Room was hot. Self checkin system was not working. Moody manager had to help us. No one really spoke English. Breakfast was horrible.

Well equipped kitched, nice bedroom, window blinds

A bit hot in the top floor, airconditioning somewhat complicated to get to work.
