Hôtel de Paris

Very comfortable hotel, just in the historial center. Breakfast buffet proposes various options and the coffee is very good. In general it is a charming place and very close to all the important sights in Besançon.

Location. Pleasant staff.

WiFi was inconsistent, so it was difficult to work in the room. The carpet in the long hallway to the room was stained badly. Looks like water damage.

Wonderful location and friendly staff.

The room was very small.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Looked the setting and the history of the town. It was quiet.

All good no complaints

The building is beautiful and the rooms are very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly. Great breakfast. Parking is easy in their lot. Many inviting indoor and outdoor spaces to use. Every room we’ve stayed in is different which is very charming. It’s the third time we’ve stayed there and we love it every time.

nothing!

The room was spacious and well appointed. The building is perfectly located in the heart of the old quarter.

We upgraded to a “room with a view” but had no view. We just saw the roof.

Modern hotel in the center of the city. Very good breakfast.

Room was a bit small. No early check-in possible.

Beautifully furnished public rooms and bedrooms. Great en-suite bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent secure car parking. Brilliant location. Good value for money.

Surprised there wasn't a bar. Apart from that, nothing to dislike.

Good spot in centre of town with parking. Large comfortable room.

Great location, friendly and professional staff, clean and comfy rooms.

The coffee machine in the room needed some maintenance work.

Great location, beautiful decor. Lovely breakfast room with a good breakfast spread

Charged 8 EUR for herbal tea made with coffee-flavoured hot water from the coffee machine. Wood-floored hall way very loud from passers-by and late-night revellers.

Great location in a beautiful building right in the centre of Domodossola. A bit difficult to find but owner responded immediately, met us and guided us to the car park.

Lovely building in the Center of town. Nice interior, spacious family room, nice bathroom, good breakfast

I forgot to book parking

Great central location but we weren't bothered by any street sound. Hotel has nice interior and historic feel. Check in was straightforward and efficient. Courteous staff. Recommended for a stay in Besancon.

The room was elegant and well presented

Whilst there was a coffee machine that also delivered hot water , making a cup of tea was very poor there were no ordinary tea bags and no proper cups only paper cups .

Quiet location in city Centre Big room nice restaurant next door reservation necessary nice city

Long walk to the room. We parked outside the centre cheap but our car got damaged of course no note was left

Disappointing

No heating available at an outside temperature of 12 degrees. When asked, reception said that they had no influence on this.Without this the hotel would be fine

Lovely stay, couldnt believe it is only 3stars. Very nice, clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast.Great location

Standard French hotel, few additional facilities, just room and breakfast. Good location to visit Besancon

No hotel parking - the public car park was OK but a bit of a walk away. We normally look for a hotel with a restaurant and if possible other facilities such as spa/pool, and this had neither.

Central location, lovely courtyard for breakfast

Limited parking, but a public carpark was only a 5-minute walk and well priced
