    • Ugly experience
    • Very friendly and helpful staff. Not my first time here. Excellent value for money.

    Cons -

    • Ugly experience. Arrived after reception closed. Hotel gave me instructions to get the key at the room door sill, but key was not there because they "just forgot". "Emergency" phone numbers at hotel entrance are useless, noboby answers.Had to look for another hotel at 23:00Still waiting to get their promised refund.
    • Almost everything about this hotel was disappointing. Honestly, I can’t understand the positive reviews — they seem AI-generated, otherwise it’s bizarre. The hotel is old, dirty, gloomy, and would not deserve even one star. The staff were unwelcoming — no smiles, no greeting, nothing that would make you feel like a valued guest. The €11 breakfast was terrible: cold, tasteless, and with very limited choice. Even our children couldn’t finish it.The rooms were in poor condition:•The towel shelf was rusty and broken.•The mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows were too high and firm, making proper rest impossible (especially frustrating as we were driving a long distance from the Côte d’Azur to the UK).•Both room locks barely worked — it required maximum force to open the doors.•The third-floor corridor had no lighting, creating a creepy and unsafe atmosphere. In the morning, we met a housekeeper who also didn’t greet us — which only added to the abandoned, empty feeling of the place. We paid €158, and it felt like a complete waste of money.
    • It was a bit far from all the restaurants but we found pizza

The only good thing is that it was quiet at night

This hotel is easy to find, on the way in to Besançon, from the east. The manager, who checked us in, and other staff we encountered the next morning were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was perfectly comfortable for the one night we stayed. And we were able to park at no additional cost in the yard area surrounding the hotel

    Staff was very friendly.

Rooms are very much smaller and older than the pictures suggested in the listing. Air con didn't work (at 30C), with the hotel facing a busy roundabout, we spent an uncomfortable night. Cleanliness was acceptable but not great (we had two run-down rooms, but the linens were very clean and beds fairly comfortable). Overall, we found it a bit pricey for location (noisy and far from the centre) and comfort, but it was a last-minute choice.

The nice guy behind the desk, place to park my bicycle

Location is not great, but for one night ok

Super helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. On site safe bicycle storage. Close to the tram stop.

Convenient position coming from Montbeliard- so easy to find

Related to the likes - noise from the passing traffic, especially tyre- squealing young drivers who were speeding at the roundabout.

    Good location

Bed and door in between room. Sometimes it's let the noise in.

    7DamonPosted on: 7-15-2023

A great location. Close to supermarket, swimming pool and the main tramline just across the road.

Air con could do with updating, but apart from that, a nice place to just crash out after a day out.

the location and the big teddy bear sitting in the lobby. the stairs were quite nice too. the bed was comfortable.

the room could have been cleaner, the bath room is run-down, the soap was empty. the window was dirty (incl. spider webs) and the window curtain was dropped down. spider webs and spider in the room too.

    8AnomaPosted on: 6-5-2023

The staff was very nice. We had a good welcome by Mr Simon at the reception. The beds were comfortable. We didn't have breakfast, but we had coffee and it was really ncie.
