Hotel D Bulle - La Gruyère

- Hotel interior design is excellent- Staff very friendly- Hotel breakfast excellent with lots of local produce- Great shower

- Hotel room was very hot and the air conditioning couldn't get any colder. We slept with the balcony door open and even then it was very warm, and unfortunately it was noisy outside due to being next to the train station. If you like to sleep cold this might be good to consider

Friendly staff & locaiton above mall (Migros grocery store), family owned cheese shop, visitor's center) and bus station.

They gave us a free upgrade. This is a very good 4 Star hotel and it made feel like we are in a Five-star hotel.The staff were very welcoming very hard-working, very polite, and going out of the way to help us in every single way.Nice firm Big Double BedGreat Breakfast….. which started early around 6:30 AM which was great compared to other hotels which would start only at around 8 or 9 AM……. Check out was 12 PM which was another plus point but we didn’t wait that long. We left by 10 AM.It was just too good in all ways and we will definitely return again .

Quite expensive breakfast CHF 25 per adult, CHF 10 for children for not much of a selection. But the male member of staff did offer my mum a complimentary breakfast for our stay for her birthday so between the 3 of us it worked out reasonable but I wouldn't have been happy paying full price for what was on offer.A kettle (not just coffee machine) would have been nice in the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the new railway station and a 10 minute walk into the old part of town. The staff were very welcoming right from the start in a very relaxed but still professional manner. Whenever you met staff around the hotel they were always polite, said "hi" and wanted to know if everything was OK. The room was compact but of sufficient size for a short stay, especially the bathroom and walk in shower. The mini bar was checked and stocked each day as needed and housekeeping always c;leaned however late the room was left empty. We did not try the buffet breakfast but there was a variety of restuarants cafes within a 5 minute walk including a Chinese all you can eat buffet.

Super Friendly and welcome service Staff, location is great ? Comfortable room , good view from Mountain and trian Station. I feel very comfortable there, I will definitely go back to stay again.Thank you for providing a good vacation experience.

It’s my second time in this hotel and it’s simply one of the most comfortable places I’ve been. The staff is very professional and friendly, the rooms are brand new, the location is very practical for those who have plans around Bulle. It’s a beautiful and wonderful place to be (probably I’ll be back again).

This time I made an “upgrade” to stay in the luxe room and I didn’t really see the (cost-benefit) difference.

Difficult to find initially no signage. It is actually right next to the train station in a mall. Mall is convenient with shops, restaurants and a very nice food store Milagros.

Parking garage was not easily located but a kind security guard went with my husband and showed him where it was . It does eventually come up right below the hotel and you can take an elevator right up to your floor. Rooms have no drawers or closets so we upgraded but had to put everything on the couch or you actually live out of your suitcase.

no grap bar in the shower, and bottom of shower was a little slippery.

This is a harder review to write as this was a lovely room but the location wasn’t our style. If you are traveling by train this spot is for you! It was modern, comfortable, great outlet positioning with good breakfast. Great bathroom (shower was awesome) Parking was convenient (but cost extra!)

Extremely difficult to find. In addition to room cost, parking was extra. Absolutely NO view.

Stylish hotel in a very convenient location right next to the train station in Bulle (but still quiet!) Staff are super kind and welcoming. We were able to check in a bit early as our room was ready, and we were given great recommendations for exploring the local area. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location just in front of the station, with an underground parking or an option for an open parking area just in front. The rooms were comfy, nicely decorated & clean. The staff were very welcoming & nice. Also the hotel is close to a supermarket which opens everyday and witching walking distance to many bars & restaurants

Hard to find but staff is very helpful. So call them when you are near the hotel (assuming you are not local)
