The location is perfect with a beautiful view of the church towers. The property is clean and there is a 24 hour reception. The breakfast is an elegant buffet, which is certainly worth the extra cost. Daly room cleaning is available.

The front rooms are quite noisy at night and the church bells are notoriously loud ringing at every hour, and every quarter of the hour, however, the front rooms have the most sunshine and the best views of the town

We loved the staff, we felt very welcomed by everyone. The location was amazing very nice cafe around the corner. Close to a bus stop but within walking distance of most tourist sites and other shops and restaurants.

Central to buses and restaurants; good quality for the price in Switzerland; staff were efficient in helping us with requests like food selection

Location was great, fantastic breakfast, very friendly staff. Parking arrangements were great in a place where parking is difficult to find.

Room was super small, and felt cramped . We were supposed to have gotten a free upgrade to a Superior Double room but were given an Economy Double room.

The hotel is located in a historical district. Close to multiple bus routes, making it easy to explore the entire city. The room had large windows that opened to allow fresh air to circulate in the room and a small fan. Our room was comfortable with a water kettle and small fridge. Breakfast was simple, but filling. The staff was warm and friendly. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel if you want to be located in Old Town, away from the hustle of the city (the bus to the train station is a 6-minute ride). You step out of the hotel and are greeted by a lovely medieval village with water fountains, stone walkways, towering buildings, and beautiful building facades. I loved exploring the village!

The hotel is very well located, in the town center, a minute away from the bus station conecting it with the train station and interest points around the town. The rooms and facilities area bit dated, but very clean. All in all, very good choice for a few days ' stay, at a reasonable price.

This is a mediocre 2 star hotel. The small rooms are tatty, the windows open on an inner courtyard full of air-conditioning ducts, and there's not much in the way of facilities or comforts.

The location is excellent. Very fonctionnel to stay for one night.

The smell in the room wasn’t pleasant. The room was standardized and aseptic. I expected a more special and original room because of the historical building.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Its central location was perfect for exploring the city and visiting all the main attractions with ease. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable. I truly loved being there. 10/10 – I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Location but not worth the price

First night I couldn’t sleep at all. No AC the Room was very hot you cannot open the window since there is a path near the window and no peace to open. Instead of compensation for the first day they took extra.

We booked at the last minute but it was easy to check in. The room was comfortable and clean. Be aware that not much is open on Sundays

Location was great, useful lift, friendly staff on reception. The hotel has some great cafes and bars nearby. Breakfast was varied. As there’s no onsite bar or restaurant it would be nice if the room service situation was clearer.

Pillows, they just collapse when you put your head down! Breakfast, the first morning nothing had been cleared nor refilled, no eggs etc, with an hour to go. Second morning this had improved greatly. Coffee isn’t great. Staff polite but not friendly.
