Since I like to prepare my own meals, I liked the kitchen and the big refrigerator. Also, I am pleased to find a desk where I can work, plus the apartment is quiet.

Although there is a proper kitchen, the equipment lacks a little. Meaning, no pans or sharp knives.

Attic roof made room feel smaller, and rather hot even with windows open. Kitchenette was fairly minimal but perhaps we didn’t check that sufficiently when booking.

Great location, right near the cathedral and near some excellent restaurants and shops in a pedestrian zone. Very comfortable bed. Happy to be able to open the windows and hear the bells and other sounds from the Old Town. Garage parking spot worked out fabulously.

Be aware than you need the check in - check out are self service - which is not a problem just need to follow online instructions

Cozy private room with a kitchenette. The reception was really friendly and check-in was easy despite my concern that there would be no one at the desk. The bus stop is nearby.

Slightly away from the train station. There was no elevator.

The only minus was no breakfast service in the building (although it is possible to get it at a cafe just around the corner).

We did not get information for accessing our room. We had to call. At arrival at midnight, we had to call again, as our room was occupied by another person. We had to go to a smaller room. Very poor organisation. We’d like a refund of at least 20%!

Great place to stay in old town Fribourg. Close to bus which is a 5 minute ride to trains station, which gets you to just about everywhere! A short walk around the corner and you have access to a lot of great restaurants, shops and a huge shopping center with a large grocery store. :)

I like the church bells a lot but they are noisy. Also, if you are a light sleeper and go to bed early, make sure to bring some earplugs.
